I bought these for work. I’m a fisheries biologist and work in dark coolers and needed more light when I sample. These work great! The only thing due to the cold it drains the battery life and I need to change the batteries more often. There are multiple light intensities and it also tips up or down depending on how you wear it to direct light source to exactly where you need it. Great price, I’m only using one right now and saving the other as a back up for when the current one dies. It’s a been very helpful and would be great for light night fishing and camping as well. Happy with purchase.

As a Headlamp, the brightness of the light is quite good. Not anything ground breaking, but it far exceeds most Headlamps.But the down side is that regular Triple A Batteries cannot support a light so bright for very long.I would say that the first hour of usage is quite bright, but from there degrades to a similar or lower brightness than a regular Headlamp.It is a great product for the Price, and works just as expected, you just might need to carry lots of spare Batteries if you are looking for it to be bright for a long period of time. (I got it for a Night Ultra Race).

Ehh... okay for the $17 buck spent.FIRST: In my work: I use headlamps EVERY DAY. At all times, one is on my head, and one is on the charger.PROS: Bright, w/ four differnt levels of brightness. This is achieved by pushing the power button either once, twice, three times, or four. By doing that, it selects one of four combinations of LED (white) lights, ex: One push engages one set of lights on the panel, two pushes, leaves on the first set, and adds the next set to have two sets of LED's on at once, thereby displaying more light. And, each additional push of the power button adds more and more LED lights, and the full display gets brighter and brighter, etc... until all four LED sets are on at one time, this being the brightess setting.This headlamp also has two settings of red LED's for night time use.CONS: First, the electric eye setting doesn't work very well ( I have found this to be true with many different headlamps of this kind). The idea is to wave your hand in front of the lamp panel to either turn on or off. The problem is: Almost ANYTHING turns the light on/off, for example: As one would be moving around doing some activity, the sensor (electric eye) reflects off of about any surface causing the light to turn off unwanted, which can be annoying.Also, another weird thing that happens with these headlamps: On a FULLY CHARGED headlamp, I will push the power button four times to get the maximum amount of light, and then realize that a few minutes later, the light has dimmed to a lower setting, even though the battery has a FULL CHARGE... very aggravating when I have tools in my hands, and am trying work, and I have to constantly reset the light to get the higher light output.CONCLUSION: These are handy, and for $17/pair, are useful. Because headlamps are a necessity with my work, these don't quite measure up, they are, although, very handy around the house. If they are still $17 at the time of this review (6/8/25), they would be worth the money spent. *NOTE: I HAVE HAD THESE FOR OVER FOUR MONTHS AND THEY ARE STILL WORKING WITH NO ISSUES EXCEPT FOR THOSE I MENTIONED.
