So far so good, bought this for my husbands very sore heels and only just tried it a few days ago. He said his heels aren't quite so sore especially when in bed so looking good. Advised to purchase this product from his Podiatrist as it's supposed to very good for cracked, dry skin.

Have used this product for years, and now have lovely soft feet. Works really well, and I will continue to use.

I have been trying to find a cheaper alternative to my foot balm as I suffer terribly with dry skin, and especially on my heels that crack in the summer. I read the reviews and was pleased. It arrived on time, and began to use it. Excellent and drys into skin almost immediately (which astonished me), only down side is it can be a bit sticky unless perhaps you sit for 15 minutes. Im on the go so apply and go so perhaps I should sit awhile before I race around. Has definitely helped my heels.

I have extremely thick, hard skin that builds up on one heel and has split quite badly. I know I should rub my heel with a file or pumice stone every day, but I have arthritis which makes it awkward for me to bend or raise my feet to reach. I have just spent 8 weeks with the other leg in plaster and the build up of hard skin on the usual heel seems much worse than usual. A chiropodist that I visited seemed quite concerned about how deep some of the splits were. The chiropodist mentioned this product - so I decided to give it a go, found it on Amazon and ordered it. I bought it in a tub (no pump) - it is also available in a pump-container. It is superb - I apply a little in the morning and rub it in well. At night I apply a lot more and I have some small hemp "moisturising socks" from Body Shop that I put on just to keep the balm off the bed sheets. After 3 days I can already see and feel that the splits are healing, and overall the skin on the heel is significantly smoother and softer than before I started to use it. Update Feb 2017: after 4 weeks I saw the chiropodist again - she was impressed at the improved condition of the skin overall and the degree to which the splits had healed. As far as I know the % of urea is what really helps to heal the splits (25% is more than several other similar products contain), but this product seems to have a very good general moisturising effect also. It works far better than the "heel" product from CCS. I would definitely recommend this product.

As always, I purchase Flexitol for my foot care management. It was recommended to me many years ago by a District Nurse in the United Kingdom. I have always been prone to split/very dry skin on my feet and I know why I have issues occasionally, I skip applying Flexitol cream, telling myself, "I'm busy, have to rush ..." , as a keen hiker it has played its part in maintaining my ability to go out and walk. Now, as a diabetic it is even more important to take care of my feet. A side bonus of applying the 'cream', it is also very good for my dry cracked hands. Whilst it may seem expensive for a 500gr pot, I do not think it is when I reflect on the overall cost of other products. I have previously wasted money on all sorts of 'creams' with no real effectiveness. Simply the best product.

Flexitol is by far the only foot cream that actually works if you suffer from dry, cracked feet on a regular basis. I have used hundreds of creams, and I originally started using this cream after I saw it on the bottom shelf in a local store near me. Not wanting to pay 15 dollars for a 70 gram tube, I looked at more bulk options, and finally found this listing. The cost of the 500g tub is about half the price of what buying an equivalent volume of tubes would be, and a little does go a long way. After having received this tub (about a two week wait as it was shipped from the UK), I started using it daily. Within four days all of my major cracks on my feet have sealed, and I no longer have pain when I walk. I now will use it every other day, until I eventually go down to once a week and use it for maintenance. The regular tubes would last me about 3-4 months, so I expect this tub to last well over a year. Well worth the money. Don't waste your money on the other "urea" creams on the market that only contain 0.2% urea. Trust me, and just try this (or one of the smaller tubes) out, and I promise you won't be left disappointed.
