Solid Customer Support
First off, the headphones are lacking a bit in bass but vocals sound lovely. They are incredibly comfortable and probably the best looking headphones I've ever had. After 4 months or so my left headphone started to make static noises, like you would get with an improper jack connection. The customer support is top tier. Unlike other brands thats offer a warenty bit never make good on it, Sivgas was incredibly helpful and offered to replace them. I dropped the ball and didn't ship out for a couple of months --I contacted them, shipped out, and within two days I was given a tracking number. I recieved my new replacement which did not have the same issue.Thank you to the customer service team at Sivga!

Sounds Quality Not Great
The Sivga Oriole incorporates high levels of treble at the expense of the base. Don't get the headphones.

Great sound from these headphones
I enjoy listening to my music on these headphones, for me just the right amount of bass and not fatiguing at the top end. Immediately from the 1st song I played I noted the clarity that i had not heard from my other headphones. Headphones were connected to either my Android phone or ipad using a Dragonfly Red or iBasso DC005 dongle dac, I'm no audiophile and don't understand the terms that they use I just like great sounding music and I knew these headphones were great for the price at under US $200, with currency conversion and shipping they did cost 340 Aussie dollars. These are well constructed using materials I would associate with products twice the Australian price I paid. Headphones are comfortable and fit well, although the protein leather ear cups can get hot and I found myself lifting them to cool down (it is our summer so not unexpected). These headphones have become my favourites and the ones I reach for all the time.

Well, this has been different..
So I plugged them in upon arrival. Absolutely hated them. Thin, little to no bass. Hardly any midrange. Semblance was hissy and awful. Only thing that came to mind was WEAK. I was gonna send them back next day but tried them again. This time I found it all to still be crap EXCEPT the vocals. They were out in front of everything and sounded really detailed. I have several headphones that are for different purposes. Mixing, tracking and recording. Bluetooth for Netflix, Hulu and so on. Headphones for listening to different types of music from android. So I opened my DAW and recorded a vocal track and found them to be excellent. So even though I mostly only like them for vocals, they are perfect for that. Now that I have had a break in period (for me & the phones, I will say they are are nicer than was the first impression. Dac & amp stepped them up a bit too. So, keeping them "mostly" for vocals and some easy listening here and there. They really are a beautiful set. Give them a few days if not satisfied and see what you think after that. I actually seem to be liking them more and more over time. Strange experience with these I gotta say. The hissy semblance also seems to have went away and there is a bit of bass coming through now. Not much, but a bit. Curious how I will feel about these over time. Nonetheless, they are great for recording the vocals which makes it an odd, but good purchase for me and my intentions.Edit: lol, talk about a chameleon. These have morphed into a pretty nice set of cans. I use all my cans, but just for enjoyment or recording vocals, these are coming out more often by the day.

Wanted to like them BUT…..
After reading some of the reviews I figured I’d give them a try. Been looking for a closed-back set for those occasions where open-back’s are inappropriate. Beautiful presentation and build quality. Good feel and clamping was non fatiguing. All and all, had the drivers been up to par with the headphone quality; these would be ideal. But that’s just it. It’s about “sound”!!!! The sound was OFF! Songs I knew well and use to test speakers were missing a presence in certain frequency ranges. Really notable with female voices. There was a obvious dip or complete loss of the lower frequency range in, for example, Amy Winehouse’s voice. That “thick” sound in her lower octave range was gone. Like it was EQ’ed out completely but even lower frequency were heard and were well presented. Just weird. I really wanted to like these and even ‘burned them in a bit’ leaving them playing at a moderate volume for a day or so, being driven by the headphone amp on a home receiver. They did improve significantly but not enough. It’s most likely the driver itself. I’m sure you could improve the sound with EQing but why should I bother if it’s needed for just these headphones and really makes it a complete non-starter for my intended use off a phone. Additionally, as was stated by another reviewer, these do not sound great at higher levels. So if you’re looking for a set to crank up the volume……these are not it!! Harsh is a perfect way to describe what happens when these phones get driven. If they work that out with the driver, these would be ideal. Qualifier: I’ve been a audio enthusiast for decades. Current open backs I use are AKG K701 ( Austria built series ) and Philips X2HR. Built several high end speaker designs over the years. Even 5 way x-over designs so I have somewhat of a idea about sound presentation. Do I claim to be a expert? Humbly, NO! But I can say it’s my opinion that these are not what others have claimed them to be. At least to me, so they are getting returned.

Sivga Endgame..Let the music play!
Absolutely the most clinical and transparent at this price point I have ever heard. No equalizing or amp) The tunning on these cans are simply magical ..especially in that vibey sub bass that doesn't drown out the music. The mids & vocals are airy perfection to my ears. The soundstage will expand and surprise you throught a track. THESE are my favorite cans over the Focal Clear, Sivga 023. The Oriole delivers a sound that will wake up all your music catalog and some. I am not technically savvy but the sound is like analog playing vinyl on a high end system. Both Meze Pro 109 & Sivga Orioles are the winners of 2022. Let's see what the upcoming Moondrop Venus will bring.

fantasic pair of closed back cans, just one thing...
I originally was looking at purchasing the SV021 Robin's however i was temped to splash out the extra 50 (in this case 70) for the Orioles. There's a lot of competition at this price point both closed and open backed and these stand out for the excellent build quality and wooden enclosures.these are the first seat of headphones that I will not use at full volume due to the fact that they are very easy to drive. the high ends can be a little harsh at higher volumes too. there is bass however i do have to crank up the bass a little on my dac as I enjoy a more bass heavy sound but also because i use my headphones when gaming and not using my q acoustic speakers.overall they are a comfortable and beautiful pair of headphones. my biggest issue is the price. upon reading reviews when trying to decide to get the orioles or not, the price stated was always £199.99 ish. On ali express via the Sivga store they are £202 (as of 26/1/23) with free shipping. where for some reason amazon is pricing them at £220 with a 5% discount over Christmas. yes they are next day shipping but they can be found cheaper somewhere else, hence the 4 starts for value for money.you will not regret these headphones. I certainty do not.

Expressive sound but flawed.
Beautifully crafted, very comfortable to wear. The product arrived without details of warranty, which I’m attempting to clarify. It’s early days, but treble can sound harsh, especially at increased volume. I understood from reviews that the bass would be focussed and presented as independent instruments, but to date it’s barely noticeable. Mid range however is really expressive. I’m hoping that with a period of ‘running in’, that the overall sound will settle down. I listen to an eclectic mix of music, but little bass driven, so I was optimistic. They’re reportedly easily driven from mobile sources, so I’m currently using my iPad with Spotify as a source, and have yet to test them with my hifi system. Time will tell, but I’m quietly optimistic
