When it breaks I'll buy another, 1 very big fault
The good.. I'm very impressed with this so far. I'm a Painter and spend a large part of my day caulking woodwork. The gun attaches quickly and simply, it never slips but most importantly the power of your squeeze is amplified and transmitted smoothly, when you release the trigger the flow stops whereas other guns continue to flow with pent up pressure. Nice and small for the toolbagThe bad.. The plunger is not long enough for a longer size tube only the short size. It is necessary to cut a few inches from the bottom of each large tube to empty it. I emailed wolfcraft requesting a longer plunger outlining the issue but only got a flat German refusal. Great gun could easily be the best if they gave a flying duck

The best yet.
I was fed up with the standard metal skeleton caulk guns, constantly either sticking making sealant spurt all over the place or bending at the top of the handle. Although cheap(ish) to buy, I think I’ve gone through about a dozen skeletons in recent years so overall not that cheap and considering the effort the product should be a lot better made!So I started looking at lots of caulk guns and reviews - either cheap and nasty or seriously expensive. Wolfcraft seemed to get good reviews so I concentrated there. In the middle there are 2 models, MG310 and MG300. MG310 doesn’t have many reviews and seems to have an issue gripping the tube after a bit of use so I decided I’d take a chance on MG300 with lots of positive reviews. So far the MG300 has been used for sanitary silicone (my least favourite job!), acrylic frame sealant, adhesive and decorators caulk.Does it automatically stop when you do? No it doesn’t! But it does soon after, maybe another 2-3 cm so keep paper towel handy. I found if you ease pressure on the trigger towards the end of the bead run you can just about get it to stop most times, I think it depends on how liquid the caulk in the tube is.This gun definitely makes it easier to use thicker sealant without hurting my hand through squeezing the trigger, seems like less trigger pressure and better overall control - and the handle hasn’t bent yet. Much easier to change tubes quickly due to not having a metal cage or tube or having to retract the plunger. It feels solid even though it’s hard plastic, it doesn’t bend or wobble. Trigger and ratchet seem very smooth and not jerky allowing more control of the caulk bead and much easier use.Considering the good feel and number of caulk tubes I’ve used I feel it’s already paid for itself and I haven’t cursed it once which is major when caulk guns are normally used. I hope this one lasts and I don’t need to replace it but I’d buy it again if I had to but notice the price has gone up in the past month. Why only 4 stars? Bit of poetic license about auto cut off, and don’t really know how long it may last yet so knocked off a star - but it definitely deserves 4 stars, best caulk gun I’ve ever used!

the best sealant gun i bought
Wow! the best sealant gun i bought. Worth every penny.I bought many cheap guns upto £10 (each broke the same way)I looked up on this new type. Looks chunky but it's not-ok...What can i say it's solid, easy to use & no hassle to change your cartridge (most std size)Simply pull from back using trigger & push in cartridge & squeeze. To quickly change you only need to push both the green edges together-that's it!Very good design as the mechansim cannot be broken.Cheaper versions out their but i would highly recommend this wolcraft brand.Hope this helps others baised on my experience with other sealant guns in the past.I rate 100%- excellentHope my review helps other to decide.Further question more than welcomed to answer

Should have purchased ages ago
Good quality caulking gun. Easy to squeeze trigger and gives great control of flow. Non drip function is good aswell, still a little dripping here and there, but nowhere near the usual. The way you attach the tube to the gun is a great idea and works very well.

Initially great. But has now jammed up after less than a dozen uses.

Easy to use
Have never got on with sealant guns, too heavy and unwieldy but not this one - it's great ! Lightweight, easy to use and does a fab job, happy to recommend.
