Supa Cold Water and tropical Fish Vacation Food for Two Weeks, 25 g , Assorted

one of our goldfish, 'Finn', is food aggressive, he is actually pretty much everything aggressive. He is not a bad fish, just a self-centred idiot. His long-suffering tank mate, 'Heidi' has resigned herself to her fate. She is the only fish that I have ever seen roll her eyes. She loves him, I think, but she knows she deserves better.Heidi and Fin were both the same size 6 months ago when we bought them. He is now about 5 times as big as her due to his indiscriminate eating habits.Last time I went away I put in the holiday feeder a few days in advance to make sure they were ok with it, The food I chose was of a waxy consistency with flakes of food embedded in it. After a few hours, Fin started picking it up and chucking it about, by morning all the food was gone and the water in the tanks was very murky. My fish had consumed 28 days worth of food in 10 hours. I had to clean the tank out and race off to buy more holiday food. This supa food came highly recommended. I pretty much had to stick it in and dash off hoping for the best. I was relieved to find them both hale and hearty on my return and the water in the tank was still in good condition too. I now use these every time that I go away.If it worked for Fin it will work for even the most obnoxious of Goldfish.

I will never buy this stuff ever again, it doesnt last anywhere near the stated 2 weeks and fortunately I was only away for 2 - 3 nights on the 2 occasions I used this. Fist time I was away for 2 nights only and came back to a fully dissolved pack so you can imagine what would happen if you are away for 2 weeks.The pack says it is sufficient for feeding up to 14 fish, well I only have 10 including an algae eater.So really this product isnt fit for purpose at all and sadly I am yet to find something decent that doestn create a mess in the tank.

Just drop it in the tank and job done .I actually used one of these as fish were getting over fed , so dropped one if these in the tank after a 20% water change and just left everything alone for a week .Tank water is now nice and clear and fish seem to be happy and very active .

Bought for sons fish tank whilst we were away for a week. Due to feedback, we put it in the tank a few days early to see how it performed and we are really happy with it. Fish still alive, look happy, water is really clear as normally needs partially changing every week. Definitely purchase again.

Although seller promptly responded to try and help several times it would not work on the Giff Gaff sim and eventually I gave up. I have experience with a more expensive brand that works well but wanted a cheaper one this time around without a contract. Turned out to be a waste for me.

Used for years , never had a problem. Do a water change before you go , drop 1 in, do a water change when you get back, take out any remains of food block. Make sure tank has enough aeration

It's like sending them on an all inclusive holiday for a couple of weeks. The block did its job very well and although the fish were very pleased to see us on our return, they all appeared very well and healthy. Buy with confidence.

Always buy this one for my fish when i go away for 2 wks and they are happy and alive when i get back so im chuffed
