Been on the Wishlist for a while snd finally got it. Not disappointed at all with this, smell is nice and almost musky (in a good way lol) and almost mint-like when very close

Absolutely love the smell of this, very easy to apply, nice size and good price. My skin has improved with it.

No good reason at all for any scent let alone one this pungent and powerful. It's overpowering and unnecessary. I think most men who take an interesting in their grooming will already have a cologne or aftershave that they use and that has a scent they like. Pointless to then put this on and smother everything. That said.... it is the only beard balm I have used that makes my rather wiry and rough facial hair actually feel nice and smooth. So - it does its job really well but I only use it if I'm not going out anywhere as it absolutely honks for miles.

Great stuff, nice smell and feels nice and cool when applied. Some might find is a little harsh on sensitive skin as it burns a small amount when first applied.

Not for me this balm. I am not new to Proraso products, I have used them for shaving for years but as is the fashion for Men these days, I have grown a beard, it looks good but boy, it itches like a Dog with Fleas. I have used other Balms and Oils and even use Proraso Beard Wash, which is great but this Balm does nothing for me. It isn't cheap either. It is more like a single Cream consistency which means it doesn't hold the beard hairs, they just poke out in all directions so my beard looks scruffy, it smells nice but thats about it. I need a balm to be a balm, to soothe my skin, moisturise and tame the beard hairs too. I'll be passing this one on and unfortunately won't be back for more. Disappointed.

Smells fantastic. A little goes a long way. Makes my already wizardly beard look and feel even more majestic!

I prefer this product over Cremo Beard and Scruff even though it costs $6 more, it’s worth it. It definitely smooths beard itch when growing a new beard (so does the Cremo brand) but with a much more pleasant scent and minus the greasiness of Cremo. It dries down after a few minutes. It is not a typical ‘beard balm’ in that it provides softness to the beard but rather a ‘soother’ for new beards. If I was to re-grow my beard again, this would be the product I would reach for during those initial few weeks.

Es un productazo. Ya sea por el olor, la sensación balsámica o por la aplicación tan buena que tiene, es un producto indispensable si tienes barba y la recortas a menudo.

Tengo la barba un poco china y por tanto áspera, desde la primera aplicación quedó suave y manejable, además tiene un aroma a maderas muy varonil. Al peinar la barba con el producto, es súper fácil. Ya había probado otras marcas y ninguna Yam efectiva cómo está. También le da un poco de brillo

Meine Haut ist sehr empfindlich. Manchmal ist es so, dass Produkte für die Pflege meiner Haut anfangs funktionieren und gut vertragen werden und nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr. Das ging mir leider bei Bartöl so. Als ich dann durch einen Freund auf das Proraso Beard Balm (Wood and Spice) aufmerksam gemacht wurde, da er damit sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte, habe ich es mir einfach mal bestellt. Das ist nun fast 5 Monate her und seit dem nutze ich täglich und nur noch Beard Balsam von Proraso. Für meine Haut unter meinem nun doch schon sehr beachtlichen Vollbart war dieses Balsam die Rettung. Eigentlich wird dieses Produkt dafür empfohlen, es in der Anfangsphase eines wachsenden Bartes zu verwenden, damit dem lästigen Jucken entgegengewirkt und die Haut in dieser Phase gepflegt und beruhigt wird. Ich habe für mich hier aber noch ganz andere Vorteile entdeckt: 1. Es pflegt meine Haut unter dem Bart fantastisch. Keine trockenen Stellen und somit keine Hautschuppen mehr. 2. Mein Bart ist geschmeidiger geworden und meiner Meinung nach auch leichter kämmbar. 3. Es riecht unglaublich gut, meiner Frau und mir gefallen die Düfte Wood & Spice und Azur Lime außerordentlich gut (nur diese bisher getestet) 4. Es ist sehr gut und ohne Rückstände einmassierbar Der Balsam ist eher flüssig und ähnlich einem After-Shave-Balsam. Mit einer Flasche komme ich ca. 1 Monat hin. Ich gebe morgens nach dem Duschen ungefähr in der Größe einer 1 Euro-Münze etwas auf die Handfläche, verreibe es in beiden Händen und massiere es dann in den trockenen Bart. Hierfür mit den Fingern schön in den Bart bis auf die Haut hinein massieren, damit das Balsam der Haut die Feuchtigkeit spenden kann. Manchmal, je nach Lust und Laune, bekommt mein Bart auch Abends nochmal die gleiche Dosis ab. Den Duft Wood & Spice nutzte ich nun schon seit Januar 2017 und habe in dieser Duftnoten auch das Bartshampoo bestellt (auch sehr zu empfehlen). Der Duft haftet sehr lange und dezent im Bart und wird von meiner Frau und auch von anderen Personen als sehr gut beschrieben. Als „würzig, männlich und frisch“ würde ich ihn beschreiben. Wer ähnliche Probleme mir der Verträglichkeit von Ölen zur Pflege des Bartes hat, einen angenehmen Duft seines Bartes erreichen will und ein Balsam zur Pflege des Bartes mit den von mir angesprochenen Punkten sucht, sollte nicht lange überlegen und einfach mal einen Versuch wagen und es bestellen. Ich bin meinem Freund für die Empfehlung sehr dankbar und wollte daher hier diese Rezension für interessierte Bartträger abgeben. Vielleicht kann ich damit ja weiterhelfen. Für mich ist das Beard Balsam neben dem Bartshampoo von Proraso das einzige was ich noch als Pflege an meinen Bart heranlasse. Klare und uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung für alle Bartträger!
