Performance First and foremost, the thermal paste does its job. After application, I noticed consistently low temperatures, which is exactly what you want from a product like this. Compared to other thermal pastes I’ve tried, this one stands out for its effectiveness, keeping my components cool and stable under load. The Smell of the Alcohol Wipes Here’s where my personal gripe comes in: the smell from the alcohol wipes included with the paste is very strong. I’m not sure if the potency is necessary to clean off old thermal paste effectively, but it’s something to be aware of. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not immediately disposing of the used wipes after use. The lingering smell in my room was overwhelming and awful—definitely a lesson learned! Pricing While the paste works great, I feel the price is slightly on the higher side. For the performance it offers, it’s reasonable, but a bit of a price drop would make it more accessible to a wider audience. ARCTIC MX‑6 has quickly become my new favourite thermal paste. Application is incredibly smooth it spreads evenly, isn’t messy, and has just the right consistency for both beginners and experienced builders. The moment I applied it, I could tell it was a quality product. The performance speaks for itself, I saw an immediate drop in temperatures compared to the older paste I was using. Under load, my CPU runs cooler and more consistently, and the system feels more stable overall. It’s impressive how much difference a good thermal compound can make. If you’re building a PC or refreshing an older system, this is absolutely worth picking up. Reliable, easy to apply, and delivers excellent thermal results. Highly recommended

Amazing quality and performance was easy to apply, i used the X and Dot technique. Preformance improved i am sure due to heat dissipation. Old paste had become dry and tempratues started rising, the Artic MX-6 proved to be a very good quality of paste. 100 % value from money the wipes were excelent tool in the pack.

I bought this as I would normally have used the mx-4 paste which is normally picked up for pretty cheap and is a great piece of paste. I bought this as it's the newest version which claims to be better at passing heat to the heatsink. I can safely say that this is much better than the already great mx-4. So far I've used it on a couple of gaming PCs and servers. I wasn't expecting this to have too much of an impact on reducing cpu temps, however after applying this, I can say I'm seeing temps drop as much as 20 degrees. I must admit the 20 degree drop was from a used gaming pc that had horrendous paste applied previously which most likely wasn't changed at all. On my servers I'm seeing a good 7-10 degree drop in CPU temp. This is fantastic. The kit comes in a little box with the syringe of paste as well as a little pack of cleaning wipes. These made quick work of cleaning CPUs completely, I would normally use separate thermal paste cleaners and primers, however this kit was so handy, the wipes clean off paste as quick as a hot knife through butter. They smell like lemon and if you've used any similar cleaner then you'll know the smell. I think it's great. All in all. Very happy with the product, will certainly be my go to as thermal paste from now on. From this pack I've changed 4 CPUs and there is obviously still lots left. The paste itself isn't watery, it's not too thick either and spreads fantastic. There isn't a spatula to spread the paste, I personally don't use them but I know some would prefer this method. I just go for the blob in the middle and let the heatsinks spread it evenly.

Wipes worked great. Very strong smell tho so please be advised to not inhale the fumes. MX-6 by itself for CPU purposes works wonders. HOWEVER i would not recommend this for GPU repasting, which i had done last month (July) It's been a little over a month now since my GPU re-paste and its starting to show bad signs, ive gained around 3c-7c on average during gaming load. The PC is on 24/7 so not quite as bad as of an effect for thermal cycles as the PC is rarely off for prolonged periods of time. Dont get the wrong impression with this review tho. MX-6 works great. just do not use it for GPU repasting. Ultimately this is just advise. you do you. my GPU is old at this point so the mounting pressure is ultimately most likely crap. would still advise PTM7950.

The MX-6 thermal paste performs very well in heat transfer and paste application. Temperature drops were noticed immediately under load and re pasting the CPU was very simple as the paste has a slightly higher viscosity compared to MX-4. Spreading the paste for full coverage was fairly simple and quick. The MX cleaning wipes are a double edge sword compared to iso propyl alcohol. While it does a great job breaking down the old paste for clean up, it also makes the paste very runny. It does not affect any clean up per se but it does get a little messy and stain a lot of things like automotive anti seize. Finally as noted by many people in the review section, the odor of the cleaner is definitely strong. I highly recommend this job be done somewhere ventilated and throw the wipes directly in the outside trash can.

Nei miei test ho visto temperature più basse di 1‑3°C rispetto a paste di fascia media, soprattutto sotto carico prolungato. In sintesi: facile da applicare, prestazioni elevate, kit completo. Perfetta sia per chi fa manutenzione saltuaria sia per chi assembla o aggiorna spesso i propri sistemi.

Świetny zestaw dla początkującego użytkownika, brakuje tylko łopatki do rozprowadzania jeżeli ktoś preferuje ten sposób. Przy pomocy tego zestawu nakładałem pastę 3 razy i nadal dużo zostało. Chusteczki działają magicznie, bardzo dobre również do odtłuszczania powierzchni. Pasta trzyma temperaturę genialnie.
