価格は高いですが、非常に良いです。
Nikon純正のレンズフットは、固定ねじが緩みやすく、リリースレバーにうっかり指がかかったりするとレンズ落下してしまいます。この固定方法はニコンの設計ミスではないかと思うほどで、同様のレンズフットを持つ500/5.6、600/6.3を持っている複数の方からねじが緩んで落下した話を聞きます。私は100-400と600/6.3を持っていますが、100-400を落下させて、レンズ・ボディを修理に出した経験があり、それ以降レンズフットを外してアルカプレートを直付けで使っていました。このレンズフットはレンズ本体側の四角のランド部分にピッタリはまる構造になっており、ツイストすることもなくとても良好です。また、高さも程よい程度で操作性も悪くありません。お値段がもう少し安いと良いのですが、レンズ落下防止のための保険だと思って2つ購入しました。一点だけ、純正の固定に使われている羽目合い部分のダブテイルはこちらのレンズフットと羽目合う構造になっておりませんので注意願います。直接1/4ねじで固定するので、ダブテイルの勘合は（実質勘合していない状態で固定されるので）不要との設計判断だと思います。1/4ねじが緩んできたときに、ダブテイルで勘合していないのでガタガタすることで、気が付きやすいので帰って良いのではと思っています。追記：NIKONの三脚座のベース部分のダブテイルの幅にばらつきがあるようで、所有する600/6.3は20.17ｍｍ、100-400は20.24ｍｍと100-400のほうがわずかに広いです。その結果100-400ではちょっときつくてねじで締めこむとで合体させられました。しっかりはまるのできついことは悪いことはないですが、要注意です。

Cannot carry by plate due to low profile
The plate is very good if your just using a tripod/monopod. If you choose to carry the lens upside down by the foot its not possible because of the low profile nature of the plate.

Too low for my Nikon 400mm F4.5 S lens
The foot is too short, and I can hardly put my small hand through. Needs to be at least another 1 cm taller. I bought two, and have to put them away. Too dear to send back.
