I don't know. However the heater is a small, light weight, well made, compact unit with very little that could go wrong. It is literally a two-speed fan, an on/off switch and a heater element through which air is blown. It is excellent value for money and I recommend it.

What is the difference between the 2k and the 3k heaters?

Power used 3k more expensive to run than 2k if switched on to full power & the former warmer than the latter on full power.
