i bought two blueberry plants that came in 4 inch pots but were smaller than this.the size of the plant itself exceeded my expectation, however the package itself did not come in good shape. it was damaged from the outside and i thought that the plant will be broken.when i opened the package, i found the plant in one piece, however the leaves did not look healthy to me, they were turning yellow with brown spotting on some of them.i had to travel internationally and sadly i left this plant behind and took the other two healthy plants i bought from another seller, which arrived safely with me.

No bush. No berries. This season, at least 🙁 Looks like "A Charlie Brown Blueberry Bush" tho
Hoping this simply needs a chance to greet next Spring stronger and ready to produce a bumper crop straight out of the gate!It arrived as stated, a small plant that obviously needed a little photosynthesis action going on, but appeared to be as alive as possible - considering its wild ride.Three months in, & there's nothing but bare, brown, pitiful twigs protruding from the soil in the planter where my husband planted it with such excitement and joy!I surprised him with this blueberry bush because of how much he loves them, making sure to share with him the info included in the listing itself, along with some of the customer reviews. It was another one of those instances where his happiness would be my reward. As I said, if things aren't looking up by the time Spring 2017 is underway, he might just dropkick the planter across the alley & into the woods behind our house if I can't convince him to let it be. I, on the other hand, will be heartbroken.

Wish it had lived
The plant arrived in great shape. Within one week it was a twig. I immediately transplanted it into a bigger pot with a top brand of potting soil. Kept it moist, and protected in our kitchen window where it could get plenty of light and still be warm, since we had a cold spell. Our cold spell was NOT below freezing, but it was 40. While it sat on the windowstill, it just wasted away. Leaves got crispy. I still have it there hoping for some life to return. It may have been my fault, but it also may not have been my fault it didn't make it.

Order two plants. One grew, one died.
I repotted the two plants I purchased from the very small pots I received into gallon pots containing acidic soil (which is mandatory to successfully grow blueberries). One plant is growing nicely the other promptly died.I should have just waited until spring and ordered bare root plants. I probably would have had better results.

It was much smaller then expected. I hope it survives NEW York's winters to grow large enough to produce fruit as well as the pink lemonade blueberry plant i purchased. We will see.

Time will tell if it comes back next year
Very tiny shrub. Now that winter is here, it is barely visible so I hope it comes back next year

It took two years before fruit appeared
It took two years to actually see any fruit but now they are flowering and fruiting so much this summer. And now, 7 years later, they are producing so many delicious berries! I need to fight the birds/ deer off from eating all of them. Some tips I have found that may help you grow blueberries:-Have more than one blueberry plant (they produce more fruit this way via cross pollination).-Prune the bottom stems. They like having room to grow.-Acidic soil is best. I like to add coffee grounds and epsom salt.
