Wonderful
Needed a couple of these for my electric bikes, less than half the price Halfords and Thule's own website charge, absolute bargain.

It’s too short for my ebike so make sure you measure
A piece of chain and a couple of decent carabiners at each end is more adjustable and a fraction of the price.. the chain can also be used with a padlock to secure the bike. My e-bike does have quite a big frame. Good design though and well built

Perfect! Used on my full suspension bike
This works incredibly well. Very secure. The two hooks on either end can be screwed out to the desired length. You then fit it to the bike and turn the centre bar to pull the two hooks back towards each other. Reassuringly stiff so you're confident it’s not going to wobble loose on longer journeys. I’d definitely recommend.I also brought a second seat post clamp to fit below the hook. This stops the bar from moving down as it’s tightened.

Works well as long as you measure up first
After buying a full carbon enduro bike I needed to find a way of transporting it without damaging the frame. Not only is carbon fibre not a fan of being clamped, the geometry of the bike made it difficult to find a solid anchor point. I initially tried the Thule AcuTight Knob but after testing it on one of my aluminium bikes I found that it applied way too much pressure before ‘clicking off’ and there was no way I was going to risk it on carbon fibre. I eventually stumbled on the frame adapter and have so far found it to be a good solution. It’s easy adjust it to fit your frame and as long as you don’t over tighten it works well for carbon. A lot of other reviews have stated that it doesn’t fit but it clearly states the minimum and maximum length that it’s able to adjust to. As long as you do your research and measure the distance from your handle bars to your seat post before ordering there shouldn’t be a problem. I’ve measured and tried it on 3 bikes and it fits all of them. The only issue i’ve had is that I had to put my bike on the rack furthest from the car in order for the arm to reach properly but that’s most like due to my specific bike model than a design issue.

Easy to fit and works
No problems whatsoever, fitted easily and allowed my wifes bike to attach to a Thule towbar bike rack. I fitted the bar around the handle bar boss and the rear frame under the seat near the mud guard, it would not quite lock if I used the seat boss to handle bar. Worked really well around Europe for 3 weeks. Great piece of kit.

It’s not a Bicycle Stand let’s get that right for a Start.
This is a replacement Crossbar for bikes with no crossbar. It’s used to add support on the Thule Cycle carrier (Tow ball Type) when the securing arms and grabs don’t fit well on the seat tube frame area.

Worse than useless - its dangerous
Having purchased a tow-bar mounted bike carrier from the same manufacturer which is well made and works well I purchased the above item to enable me to mount my partners bike on the carrier. It's hopeless! It has no ability to tighten once around the handlebar/seat bar posts, the jaws gape far to wide and do not close, and the bike is left dangling ready to drop into the road when driving over even a small bump. I only managed to mangle up a solution using plastic ties, a temporary solution at best. A dreadful, useless piece of kit, that I find hard to believe a company like Thule dreamt up. I would love to see the original design spec. and how this crap made it to manufacture, with what must have been a minimum of road testing. Please save your money and buy something more suitable.
