Great little grinder
Really like this coffee grinder. I use with various different machines filter/espresso/stovetop/aeropress/chemex. Bought mainly to fine grind fresh beans for an espresso machine. For the espresso grind i usually turn screw fully the back off half a turn. The grind seems consistent and i get decent espresso from it. Sometimes i have to adjust this, not due to the grinder but the beans - very fresh beans seem to need a slightly coarser grind as they just do not go through the machine well (morphy richards accent). I suppose this is the one downside of the grinder as there are no actual settings, literally have to dial it in - only really an issue with espresso imo, but you soon get the knack. The grinder is pretty compact and fits comfortably as designed between the legs. I actually find it awkward to grind holding on a worktop. A full hopper ~20g grinds in around 70 turns and can be done pretty quick if you go at it. Normally i just grind what i need, 7g single espresso 14g double. The mechanism all seems really solid and i think a lifetime guarantee on it, no problems so far but i would like to clean it but there is no apparent easy way to do this and i think i may have to disassemble the whole box to get at the burrs so haven't done yet. On a side note i did also purchase a vintage zassenhaus off ebay and although it can't grind well enough for the espresso machine, its fine for filter/chemex/aeropress and it's at least 60 years old, so i imagine this grinder should last a little while yet.

Unit slides about, Awkward to hold still.Front of unit should be rounded for ease of grip.
It is difficult to keep the unit stable as it must be held during use.It requires a towel or glove to keep it from moving.

Tolles Mahlergebniss.
