Over the years as my hair has changed from its original colour to a more mature mixture of white, grey and some of the mousy blond of my youth with less volume the need for some sort of control has grown with the passing years the lighter the hair colour the more likely it is to be flyaway. This product gives me the ability to give me some kind of hair style and not just sit on top of my head occupying space, now using this wax as directed by following the clear instructions of the side of the tin: - “place desired amount of DAX Hair Shaper into hands and rub between palms until even”, for my own personal experience I found applying a small amount roughly the size of a pea between my palms and rubbing it until even and slightly warm in freshly washed hair gave the results I was looking for at a reasonable cost. I have used the red, blue and purple versions of this product and found this particular variation for me had the least greasy feel to it with the best control..

Good for a bit of hold and body after washing hair. Slightly better than the BedHead one for hold and smell imo.

I have been using this for years but this is short in the market, but I found it on Amazon and I am thrilled to receive it. This is the best hair wax u can ever find, suggested by a hairdresser who used to work for Tony&guy and now she is working on her own (and very successful).

Use this Dax more as a conditioner really, but it does what it says on the tin, even when your hair gets a bit longer whereas the others don't ie 'Short & Neat' and also not as greasy. Easily washes out. For some reason getting harder to get in the shops and this is cheaper anyway. Sent wrong product first but within a week of first ordering got correct item.

Fine. The product itself does the job reasonably well. However, like other reviewers I'm suspicious. I always use Dax and this is either not Dax or a different Dax product (perhaps a version sold elsewhere in the world.) The item this seller sends is not in a metal tin as Dax products usually are, but in a cheap plastic tub. The product's similar but looser; the amount's the same, but it's not as robust and the container doesn't look as good (if you care about such things).

Excellent product

It's possible that I got a bad batch or something but for a white product there was a ton of brown gunk and residue on the inside of the tin. I'm fairy confident that the two I bought had expired or been spoiled in some way.

Actually, i like this the most and I bought it three times, but actually last order the product comes without expiry date

This product is the perfect texture for styling a short pixie cut on African textured hair that is relaxed or heat-trained. It smells good, not too heavy but waxy enough to hold whatever styling you're achieving. I used it at the end of styling and rubbed a small amount between my hands and lightly raked it through my hair and enjoy added more or to my bangs to sort of add some height or to the tapered back of my head on my tiny Marcel curls.
