Absolutely perfect!
I've been looking for a good, bright and poseable lamp that could clamp to things while offering some sort of 'eye care' so that I could use it to work on creating art for hours on end. After pondering for a good while over which lamp to get, I decided to go for the Daylight Company Unolamp as it seemed to offer everything that I was looking for. >> WHAT'S IN THE BOX? Inside the box, you get the lamp itself, a power adapter/plug and a set of instructions. >> FIRST IMPRESSIONS? I was pretty impressed with the lamp after removing it from its box. It feels strong and well-engineered, but also very lightweight. It can be bent and twisted in almost any direction and has a brilliantly designed and substantial clamp which should allow it to attach firmly onto just about anything. >> HOW DOES IT WORK? Once you've connected the small cable that protrudes from the end of the lamp to its power adapter you just need to tap on its tip to turn it on. The clamp is adjusted by turning the 'handle' just above the clamp, which operates on a screw-mechanism to loosen and tighten it. The inside of the clamp edges are lined with soft roam/rubber so they shouldn't damage anything, and it opens pretty wide so it should be possible to clamp it onto fairly wide objects and surfaces. >> WHAT'S THE LIGHT FROM IT LIKE? The lamp itself consists of a strip of nicely diffused LEDs, and it has four different levels of brightness that can be adjusted by tapping on its tip. The light from it is beautifully neutral, so I find it perfect for working on my art with as it can go from fairly dull to retina-searingly bright. After using it for at least a couple of hours every evening for the past week, I've not experienced any eye-strain or headaches. >> CONCLUSION? This is a beautifully designed and engineered piece of kit that's simple to adjust and use, and I would absolutely recommend it.

Perfect for Zoom calls
This is such a nice light. On Zoom calls, my skin always looked orange under the overhead (ceiling) light. This is a lot kinder on the eyes (as it feels natural rather than harsh) and it does look as if you are in daylight. Love the fact that it can clamp onto anything - I had it set up in 2 minutes on the edge of my desk. And good that it is dimmable, so you can just use a lower setting if you need a little more light, and the max if it’s dark.

Great.
In the words of Brick Tamland, "I love lamp". This lamp is great at my desk. Nice bright white at the brightest setting. It's not harsh white light and it's easy on the eyes. Lower settings vary from a warm dim white upwards. The clip for attaching it is really sturdy and easy to use too. Really worth the money.

Great Lamp, thin power cable
I love that this lamp is bright and power efficient. It clips to the table and my small drawing board. I am disappointed with the power cable. Its as thin a headphone cable and looks at if it will break very easily, making the lamp useless. I have tried to reinforce the ends with electrical tape, which looks horrible. I am wondering how easy it is to get a replacement when it stops working.

Brilliant (in every way)
I made myself a mini worktop so I can sit by the fire on cold nights and do some close modelling work. Rigging up an Anglepoise-type lamp every time is a nuisance, so I've just bought one of these. It weighs next to nothing and clamps nicely on to the edge of the work surface, takes up no space. and won't get knocked over. The design is very clean and unobtrusive. Step 2 of the 4 brightness levels is usually adequate but when you really want to look at small detail the full brightness is great. You can get similar LED lamps for less but some have flimsy little spring clamps and there's no telling how well made they are, so I went for the Daylight Company's reputation. Very nice.

Bought for our indoor ginuea pig cage
We clipped this onto our indoor pig cage to create natural light during the winter months, it is perfect and handy for any application, I then used it when painting and attached to my kitchen table, the light comes in different brightnesses and it is very good quality

Started out impressed but it failed after 2 months!
**Edit - After two months of use the cables on this lamp started to shear away inside the lamp (there is a gap on the base where the wires go into the clamp and then into the lamp, they were shearing inside that part and looked as though they had been trapped between two parts of plastic too tightly causing the wires to split so it was a fault of the product rather than use) I’m not sure if this is a design flaw or a one off issue but I’d rather update my review as a warning to others. Amazon did fully refund the product.** I was a little worried this light would be too heavy for what I wanted but a lot of the clip on varieties seemed too flimsy or had problems with brightness due to being rechargeable rather than mains operated. I was pleasantly surprised by this lamp, it is still light weight whilst being incredibly sturdy and bright. The lamp itself is mains operated so needs to be near a plug but the cable is a decent length so you don't have to be too close. There is a connector on the lead about 10 cm from the lamp so you are able to disconnect it easily so it's not accidentally turned on. The power button/brightness setting is on the end of the lamp bar itself so it can get accidentally touched, if you have furry helpers they will likely do this for you often. The light itself has 4 settings and the brightest is brighter than current UK daylight (January). The clamp is very easily operated by twisting the base of the lamp (just above the clamp) so no fiddly screws/butterfly nuts if you have dexterity issues, it also means that the base of the lamp is flat so can stand alone. The clamp also expands a very good distance so suitable for chunkier desks too. The swan neck of the lamp is easily moved into position with a little force but is otherwise stiff enough that I have no worries I'm going to knock it and move it. I use this lamp for cross stitching and attached it to my light pad so that I have illumination from both sides of my project in hand (if you know you know). The light pad is a cheap lightweight one and the lamp is light enough that it doesn't make it fall over or tip up at all. I would definitely recommend this lamp to any crafter/artist that is after something light weight and moveable but still mains operated.

Best artist's accessory
Brilliant lamp, should have bought it at the start of my painting adventure. I can actually see what I am painting and I can see all the colours. It attaches very easily to my easel. Light intensity easily changed and it allows me to easily control it depending on outdoor daylight conditions. Highly recommend it.
