The monitor is quite widescreen, I think that is normal these days, but an excellent size for a small ish desk next to a laptop. The white backlight is quite different to the white on my Lenovo laptop, but after a bit of fiddling with the colour / saturation settings, I have it to a quality that I can be happy with. The speaker works great too. The on / standby light and buttons are slightly underneath the monitor, which helps as is is not annoying in the evenings on standby mode. Height adjustable is perfect for my requirements - I needed it higher and most monitors do not list their clearance height (annoyingly!) so this worked great. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of one for work / standard computer use. For gaming I cannot comment.

This monitor is ideal for working on documents, where the 5x4 ratio works best for this work. Not interested in watching videos so cannot comment on how it works for them. It is easy to set up. Also delivery was very swift. Very pleased and recommend for working on documents.

My 20 year old Dell monitor finally gave up the ghost. The new one works well: clear display, good controls. My old monitor was very heavy, unlike the new lift-with-one-finger model. I don't imagine it will last 20 years, but then, probably, neither will I.I do't do gaming, and have no idea what 'colour balance' means, so if you value these properties, find another review.

bought this as an Xmas present for Granddaughter tried to set it up today Digital Port does nt work. To late to return...lesson learned don't take quality for granted

Basic computer monitor but does the job

If it was possible to give this no stars I would have. The screen was faulty and didn't work from the outset so I called Dell support. The first time I spoke to someone they asked me to test it on a Windows operating system - I bought this because both Dell and reviewers said it was compatible with a Mac - I don't have access to a Windows operating system. This person said I was eligible for a new screen and would arrange that. The next day I got a call from someone else asking me what version of the HDMI cable I was using - the one that came in the box. Then two days later I got another call asking me how I was connecting to the computer - through my Dell docking station - it's only a few months old - apparently the Dell docking station may not be compatible with the Dell screen. Did I have the model number - no I was in a restaurant at the time - could I have my new screen please? The next call came two days later asking all the same questions the first caller asked - at this point I asked for my money back. I'm still waiting. The thing that was the most frustrating about the whole experience was the implication this must be my fault, anyone's fault except Dell. Faulty screens happen, I get that, which is why I was happy to have a replacement but Dell seemed to want to do anything except that.

Eu adorei comprar este monitor da Dell pois tenho comfort view e também ajuste de altura. Recomenda de cimo para trabalhar, eu coloco dois monitores um ao lado do outro e funciona super bem, minha produtividade aumentou muito com estes monitores da Dell usados em dupla.

I needed a monitor to fit into a specific space. The Dell, fit perfect. Did take some time to set up the contrast and brightness.
