Is the whole pen metal or is some plastic aswell?

It’s a beautiful pen. It does have plastic parts - the part that holds the nib; where the pen is held by the fingers; & the part that holds the cartridge. I bought separately an ink converter to make it more economical & eco friendly. I’m super-happy with the pen,& have used it every single day day since I bought it several months ago.

Can you change nibs? I like to write with italic nibs.

The nib scratched when I wrote. When I visited the Writing Desk ship in Bury St Edmund the man very kindly aligned the nib and now it’s fine.
