Premium Glass Chopping Board - Clear Frosted Glass Large Kitchen Worktop Saver Protector

I use as a chopping board as it is a Good size,frosted glass not clear ! It’s a quality product and fit for purpose... not sure if the plastic covering on the underneath was packaging and had to removed... as it had a few bubbles, I decided it was packaging so carefully removed it.. which was difficult ... So inclined to think this wasn’t correct, as I had to glue the little plastic feet back on!! Doh!! Also this protective layer might have affected the glass shatter proofing, So be warned I made a Novice mistake!!

I ordered two extra large chopping boards. The description states that they are "clear frosted", which I now realise is an oxymoron! They are either clear OR are frosted. I was expecting something a bit more transparent, but they appear to have a slight blue/green tint. However, my cupboards are a teal colour and my worktops have some blue/green veins, and actually the boards go really well with them so I am very pleased! The surface is very slightly ridged, so sometimes you have to scrub away at stains for a bit, but this is not really a problem. One of the best things about these boards are that they are made in the UK (a rarity it seems these days), and it's good to be supporting a local business.

This is the second one of these I have had. The first lasted approximately 10 years before needing replacing. We don't generally use it as a chopping board, but as somewhere to put hot pans and dishes. I also use it at points for rolling out pastry or icing. It is not significantly frosted - just enough to blur anything underneath slightly. It looks unobtrusive on my worktop and is a decent size. Cleaning is easy as well.

Met the needle had at a very good price

We have two bought from Lakeland over three years ago. We broke one (our fault) but the shop no longer stocks it but we found it here delivered to our door. You can cut on it, put hot pans on it and it cleans with a spray of Dettox. It is on non slip feet which keep it off the worktop so no damaging heat transfer and it does not buckle, stays flat. Annnnd, it looks good too.

Product was cracked when I received it ..reordered another as a good size !.and the clear colour I was looking for.

After use I found that this glass kitchen work surface protector to be superb. 5* “Tongue in cheek - my wife was right” many thanks.

Verarbeitung ist gut. Preislich könnte es etwas günstiger sein für mich. Das Glas ist nicht zu 100% durchsichtig. Weis nicht wie man es genau nennt, aber zu 100% ist es kein Klarglas. Es ist sehr leicht rau und nicht zu 100% glatt. Ansonsten robust, hält gut am Tisch. Kann man kaufen.
