Very smooth and looks great *by C***N on November 9, 2022* I purchased the 60" bifold set and ended up making a new top rail so the holes would line up with the studs. You can see in my pictures that the rail fits right to the side wall in this room. Although I would like to have it open the other direction, there wasn't room for the door to pivot. That being said, the doors open all the way, so there's plenty of access to the closet now. The directions are sufficient and after building the doors myself after watching some you tube videos, the installation was pretty easy. I also added some cool handles from Home Depot to add to the look. Make sure you check the height of the top rail a couple times before you install. I found out my floor isn't flat/level, so I had to move mine up a half inch to clear the carpet on the left side. I recommend the product and the service from this company is great. I'm getting ready to tackle a 7 foot opening so I'm getting two sets of the hardware and will build my own top rail again. They have been great in helping me figure out the parts and saving some money in the process.
