The Perfect Shaver!
This was a birthday gift (chosen by me) and I am really pleased with it. I had a Braun Lady Shaver years ago, and I loved it, but I broke it (not Braun's fault - my clumsiness!) and at the time I couldn't find a replacement in the shops. I bought other brands of shaver, but they all ripped my underarms to shreds (no matter how careful I was, and I am not a very hairy woman anyway!) I search Amazon and found this Shaver, it is perfect - I only use it for my Underarms & Legs and it has settings for these. I have not caught myself once, and it is a really close shave, my legs are lovely and smooth again. I have not used it wet, as that does not appeal to me. Once you have done the initial charge, it recharges quickly and seems to last quite a while (sorry, didn't take any notice as to specifics!?!) I am really happy with it, and I was talking to my Mum, and she wanted one, so I bought her the Battery version (which she prefers to rechargeable) - it works just as good as this one. Braun make the perfect Shaver for me (and my mum!).

Better than razors!
I LOVE this. I used Braun's epilator first for a while which worked rather well to a certain degree but was so painful. With continues use every day or so, you do get use to the pain on your legs but anywhere else and it still hurt so bad. I stopped using it after a few months because every time I used it, it would leave me looking like I had a really bad allergic reaction all over my body, it was really bad, unattractive and painful. So long story short, I've battled with hair removal issues my entire life (I've even invested thousands in having laser hair removal, which did NOT WORK) I also have a problem with ingrown hairs, about 80% of the hairs on my body are ingrown and I feel laser treatment made it worse. I've been to doctors, they've just told me to deal with it and there's nothing they can do, I've tried lotions, potions and solutions and nothing has worked. I should also note I exfoliate on a regular bases. Anyway, back to the topic, for the hair that wasn't ingrown, this worked well to get rid of it, nicer and safer than razors and didn't leave me in a rash like the epilator. Cost effective too.

A personal leg defuzzing game changer
I am a very thickhairy brunette. Shaving my legs is not only a tedious chore, it's also often painful. I have wet-shaved since I was a teenager and along the way I've tried waxing, sugaring and epilation but they are all expensive and/or painful. (Fellow thickhairy brunettes will understand.) I was absolutely sick of shaving my legs. The planning of it so that any razor rash or cuts would be healed by the time I wanted visible and presentable bare legs was a headache, plus the price of razor blades is hideous, so I decided to try this shaver. I first shaved my legs in the '90s with a Braun so I knew the results would be OK, and they are! More than OK, actually. Fast, easy and painless without any blood or swearing. I am so impressed with this shaver. As others have said, the shave is not as close as it would be with a wet razor but it's near enough. And anyway, even when I wet-shave the hair regrowth is feelable (yes, feelable) within about four hours of shaving so what does it matter? This little electric shaver is a leg defuzzing game changer for me. I love it!I've also given the old nethers-thatch a groomy tizzle-up with it and can report that it performs well in that delicate area too. Tidy. From past experience, make sure you take the razor apart to clean it as described in the instructions, and never brush or fiddle with the foil.

The best ladyshave ever!
Definitely 5 stars +++I love the speed of this shaver; it's much more robust than the Philips Ladyshave; it has no stand which I love (I like to put things away when they are not in use - and I don't like any gadgets which are not necessary, I believe the stand is absolutely unnecessary); I like that you can charge and shave at the same time; charging time is amazing - 1 hour! (comparing to Philips overnight charging... and no option for shaving on mains...). First time in my life I got the attachments which actually work, so I might even use them! Genuinely, I am absolutely delighted with this shaver. I was wondering if it's gonna be worth the money but I have no regrets for buying it.The most important thing is that it does give a good shave and I didn't have to go all over too many times. Yes, there are awkward areas where you have to go twice. Yes, sometimes it would leave an odd hair here and there. Believe me, it soooo much quicker and more efficient that Philips though! And yes, the wet shave gives you a smoother finish. But all these facts which others said about this shaver are a bit funny to me because THIS IS AN ELECTRIC SHAVER AT THE END OF THE DAY, not a razor. And I think this is the best shaver on the market at the moment (for ladies :) ).LOVE IT! Thank you BRAUN!
