Wooden multi-function baby toy with simple mechanical operation inside make this an amazing toy for young children. The kit contains 2 small hammers, two small xylophone tools, the magnetic bird, removable carrots, magnetic worms, and the rectangular block which holds the toy base and moveable parts.The package recommends 12 months +, however, the worms and maybe even the carrots that come with this toy are too small for children under 3 whom might swallow the parts.I took off one star for two reasons. The first is due to the age recommendation not matching what most people in my country consider minimum safe size on some parts. The second part of why I took off one star because paint on one of the xylophone parts is noticeably scrapped off and might be odd if you are giving this as a gift.

My 14 month old grandson enjoyed playing with this hammer box. He's still to young to play with much of it but really enjoyed pulling the worms out and putting them back in. I tried to keep the carrots in their slots so he didn't accidentally put the worms in the big holes. The box would need to be turned upside down to shake the worms out. He used his hands to pound the pegs and play with magnetic worms. He'll eventually get to the hammer for the pegs and the bird to remove the worms. For now he concentrates on 1 or two activities at a time and likes to use his fingers. This box has plenty of activities to keep him busy.

It's a toddler busy toy, but I think it may be just a bit too busy.It has a lot to do - pegs to pound, carrots to pull, worms to catch, a xylophone, gears, a clock, a number maze.It's cute, has a gift quality box, comes with 2 hammers and 2 xylophone tampers and one magnet bird for the worms. The kids favorite parts are the pegs to hit and the magnet worms.Pros - nice colors, seems pretty well made, comes with 2 of each hammer and tamper. The magnet worms are fun and peek over the holes when they are in place. Lots to do. Gift quality box.Cons - worms easily get put into the carrot holes and then have to be shaken out of the box. Frustration for little people and for parents. It's an easy fix for the most part - every time the kid plays with itThe xylophone isn't tuned, just various size metal pieces.Overall, I think 1 or 2 less things to do on this would be an improvement. Still would make a cute gift, but I might not have bought if I had seen in person first.

My kids mostly enjoyed banging away at the pistons on the top panel but there are a variety of things to do, from manipulating gears or hands on a clock, to tapping a xylophone, arranging a numbered peg puzzle, feeding magnetic worms to a magnetic bird (my favorite) and planting/picking carrot pegs in holes.Young kids and some grownups will be frustrated when a worm goes down a carrot hole and gets lost inside the toy. It can be retrieved, but it's not the simplest maneuver.

Great toy for an older toddler. Lots of fun activities but contains small parts and magnets. Set is made of wood. It is a solid construction with bright colors. Fun and educational.

This toy has a lot going on! Every part of it is visually and intellectually simulating, challenging a kid to use their hands and mind in fun ways that cleverly help them develop reasoning and motor skills.The craftsmanship on this piece is really nice, and the design is rather thoughtful. . The corners are sanded to a curve so that nobody will hurt themselves playing with it. The woodpecker and the worms have enough magnet power that even someone who isn't too steady at picking up and maniulating objects will meet with success, rather than frustration. The xylophone sounds off when struck, but is supported by foam that keeps the sound from being unpleasant and piercing. The sliding numbers are easy to guide where you want them to go. There's a clock to set the hands on, there are a couple of gears that turn each other.... it's a great collection of toys that will help entertain and educate all at once!

This cute little "bench" toy provides so many different play and learning options that can be used even as the toddler grows. One side has a xylophone, the second side has a number teaching peg maze, the top side has a pounding peg board/veggie garden with a magnetized woodpecker and two different hammers. One end has a doggie face with gears that turn and the other end has a doggie faced clock with movable hands. It also comes with 2 mallets for the xylophone. This will make an excellent gift for all the little ones on my holiday list.

My daughter immediately loved this toy. It really does have everything. The music maker was great and the included hammer and xylophone handles let you play it easily. Some of the games are more advanced since she is only 18 months. I like that she can grow with the toy though, but the carrots are a bit small and I will keep them in a baggie to play with in another 6 to 12 months.

Tolles und vor allem sehr vielseitiges Spielzeug ☺️ meine Tochter liebt es !!! Ganz besonders das Hammerspiel! Auch wenn sie lieber die Figürchen mit ihrem Fingern runterdrückt 😅 Sie kann sich wunderbar alleine damit beschäftigen oder auch gerne gemeinsam! Sehr empfehlenswert , besonders als Geschenk 🎁

Unser Enkelkind beschäftigt sich seit dem ersten Lebensjahr ausdauernd mit dem Handwerkskasten. Erst wird nur geklopft - mit der Zeit wird dann geschraubt und eigene Lernerfolge werden zunehmend feststellbar. Das Kasten muss viel aushalten, was bei der soliden Verarbeitung kein Problem ist. Absolute Empfehlung für Eigenbedarf und Geschenk.

Ich liebe dieses Set absolut. Meine Kinder 4 und 9 spielen beide gerne damit. Ich bestelle nächsten Monat jedes Mal, wenn sie vorbeikommt, ein weiteres für den 3. Geburtstag meiner Nichte, es ist das Erste, wonach sie sucht!

I bought it as present and both, the parents and the child are very happy with it. I will recommend the product as it is fun and educational at the same time. Million times better than any games and toys I’ve seen. Thumbs up from me !
