When it works, it is really good!
I had stopped using manual lenses (too much effort, too slow a process), but this adapter has resurrected their use for me. This adapter is more fragile than it seems. Best to take care when you use it.

Works as intended, solid build
Works as intended. The build quality is solid and all metal. Although a little expensive, it truly opens up a massive library of M lenses that you can use on your Sony cameras. I have tested this on my Sony a 7R3A and on my A7RV. On both bodies, it performed as I expected, though not as good as a native lens when it comes to tracking. One of the neat perks when using this device is the ability to close focus. I really like this feature as some of my M glass minimum focus distance is really long. Very happy with this purchase.

Disappointed
Rear cap was difficult to remove. When it was removed the pins from the cap were bend and the rubber around the contacts was stripped.

Awesome when it worked. But it broke after a month of light use. UPDATED
It did what it said it would do...for just over a month. Then it stopped functioning just after the return window. I wanted to love this product, but it no longer focuses and no longer works. $400 paperweight. UPDATE! So it turns out it was a firmware issue. Found instructions to roll back the firmware, set the f stop to 99, press the back focus button and take a photo, set it back to F 2 and it worked again! Find the instructions online. While annoying, the fact it works again brings it back to 5 stars. Has not given me any issues since.

Awesome product!
Not sure what’s with the negative reviews but this works perfectly! With these pictures, I’m using a Sony a1 with a 35mm Summilux lens from Leica. Obviously the photos taken from my Leica are a little better but with a little editing, the photos will be near identical. I put the Techartpro to the test by taken pictures of moving objects and they didn’t come out bad at all. I would say for 400$, it’s worth the price hefty price tag. One thing I would change is having a clear instructions manual. It’s confusing and would recommend looking tutorials on YT
