Helps keep my green cheek distracted
The toy is very nice quality and pretty big! My conure loves to shred/chew the wood bits and it keeps him distracted which really helps control his energy. I would say it’s a pretty moderate chew for bigger small birds and medium sized birds!

Bird loves it
My birds love this! Keeps them busy for about 3 minutes until they are screaming for my attention again. Better than nothing. Lol... jk.. great item.

Perfect for larger birds from an amazon to a macaw
Made for fun. My Amazon loves these . I bought 5 all similar. She loves to tear, chew and WHEN THEY fall apart she uses them on the floor and picks them up and finishes them off...they last a while.

Good quality but beware the cotton thread
This is a good toy. All of the pieces are bird safe except for the cotton string. Cotton should not be used because if the bird chews on it, they can get a crop impaction, as it is not digestable. I had to restring the whole toy to make it safe for my birds. I use raffia because it is very tough and lasts a long time but hemp, jute, and sisal twine are also safe for birds. If they chew and swallow any of the twines, they are digestable and will not cause a crop impaction. Something for bird toy manufacturers to consider when making toys. Otherwise, it is a really nice toy.

When Wet THE TOY BLEEDS
This was and is not good for birds. I received 2 for each cage on Dec. the 7th 2025. The birds would not jump on it or bite it. I found that strange. I was wondering why. It has been hanging in cages since the 7th. Dec. 15th I m going to wash the cages out. So I took them down and went to the bathroom to rinse them off. Everything inside has to be rinsed off . When I put the Bissap Bird Chew toys under the water, I almost dropped them out of shock how much they were bleeding. I threw them in the trash dripping colors. Then I got angry with hurt. At the same time knew why the birds did not touch it. I am grateful now because if they would have bit and chewed that toy, I would have never known of the coloring they were ingesting. All soft chews I will give them the water test. And I hope the manufacturer will do the same. Thank you
