Doing exactly what it said it would. Easy to set up and use the signal is a little weak when only a short distance from the router but it still functions. Not used the micro SD function yet but it was one of the main reasons I purchased. Seems good quality and the picture is very crisp. Alerts and detections work as they should. As of a few days in I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent Tapo wifi cameras got mine in 2022 still working perfectly 3 years later, I now have 3 indoors plus an Tapo outdoor cam with solar panel (wink wink) .... never had a problem .... I even drop one once, it came apart, I put it back together and it's working great till now ... Tapo is a excellent brand honestly ... you use it with the app in your phone and Alexa, very easy to set up and use, when I'm abroad on vacation it works excellent too, along with my Tapo smart light bulbs (wink wink) great security, great value for money 5 star quality, honestly try them and you won't regret it ***** 5 star

I've had this around 2 years now & never had a issue. It always connects to my WiFi & my phone. The camera quality is clear. It was super easy to set up & the app is super simple to use. It came with a really long cable too which is handy. I mostly use mine to check in on my dog & make sure he's safe while I'm out. Love this little camera

It only took me about 10 mins to unpack, install and set up this unit. Software download to an iPhone and connection was simple too. Picture and audio quality is high, and it can be viewed and controlled (including turned on/off, tilted, panned and zoomed) from the phone app even when miles away. Comes with a 30-day free offer for recording video etc, after which you will need to either pay a subscription or install a memory card (I went with the latter). Sends alerts to your phone and allows real time viewing when motion is detected. You can even use a voice function to broadcast over the camera! Night vision quality is good too. Camera has failed once - it turned itself off when the 30-day free trial expired and I needed to reset it. Otherwise, fine.

First I have to say this is the 4th TAPO camera I bought, and for a reason. I also have C510W and C310P2 x 2 outdoor cameras. Ona budget, you get very very good software, solid quality and amazing functionality. GOOD STUFF: 1. Super easy and straight forward setup. Never had an issue with this with any of the cameras from Tapo - works like clockwork. 2. Great Picture quality both day & night time. For day time you'd probably expect nowadays, but night time is really amazing. You can set it to 720/1080P or Auto and FPS 15 to 25. If you have a good broadband and connection - max it out. 3. Amazing and precise movement detection. If sound, especially baby cries and I bet dog barking too - needs AI learning time (read below) then movement detection is great and precise out of the box. 4. Great & quick notifications including reach notifications, so you can receive not just a message but also a snapshot of person/object or action captured. 5. Great functionality and customisation in general, including: Privacy Zones & Privacy Mode, scheduling, smart actions like on/off depending if you're home, auto-lullaby for the baby. etc. 6. Pan & tilt which is customisable (angle) and what is great - it's very quiet! Never woke our baby up when needed to adjust the camera. 7. In terms of storage - if you need to store the recordings you can use an SD card and store for free or you have an option to subscribe and store in the cloud. It's not super expensive in this regard comparing with some other mainstream brands. 8. Great software in general that let's you build or / and unify different Tapo devices for a smart home setup. CONS / TO NOTE: As I've bought this TC70 primarily to use as a a baby monitor camera - initially I've got a bit disappointed as advertised baby crying alerts were very unreliable. The camera was picking up maybe 1 out of 5-10 cries and just when baby was actually in the room. I'm sure that same would apply for pets or any other sound sensitive setting. But to my surprise, looks like it's really AI backed as within a week or so I've noticed that it started to pick up cries much more consistently. Now it rarely misses one and picks them up even when baby is crying in the living rooms downstairs, while the camera is in baby room on the 1st floor. So it learns but you need to give AI some learning time! Overall, that's a quality product. Recommend & picky father approved. Hope that assists you in your decision-making. Cheers!

To-Link/ TAPO are imo the best Quality cameras you can buy. I have 3 C-225’s & im buying 2 more. They are extremely cheap €50/pound most of the time. You get 30 frames a second, With 720p & 2K picture quality, Well beyond 1080p HD, it’s true HD Not a gimmick word for you to buy it the quality is that amazing. You can read a number plate on a moving car, you can turn the mic up the sensitivity of the pet car person detection , It Also will hear crying glass breaking barking etc & let you know , you can turn all these off. I have mine all indoors & some pointing out windows, the NV is really good you can set it to far or near it has no red light but will blur on a window the night vision, if there is light outside a street light you won’t need the night vision I leave mine on day at 2K 30Frames per second recording You will need a Class 10 Micro SD card , Imo go a sandisc extreme pro , As think about it your recording 2K & 30Fps & Sound none stop onto the card & it will loop when it’s full . A 128Gb with these settings will record for a week or more, But if you record in less I.e 25 or 20Fps you will get weeks & way longer at 720p & it is true HD even at 720p not like others I’ve had The only Con I have is I wish the lead was longer . It’s 1.5 meters so 99% of the time more than enough I set it up in 10-15 mins so easy to set up , And a day or 2 of playing with the App it’s so user friendly & the staff are amazing they get back to you in hours & check in days later to make sure your ok & ask do you need more help There Customers Service Is that good I’m buying only TAPO smart items, the quality of Tapo at the price with the features is a no brainer. I love this company & there quality customer support who truly care & make sure everything is sorted. It has never dropped connection I’ve a few going & getting more. I 100% recommend & I’ve had a few doorbells & apps but there clunky. Tapo is amazing a game changer in my opinion so if your thinking of getting one get it you will be happy.

Absolutely Fantastic Product. We set it up and it was functioning within half an hour. Bought to monitor our dogs when we will be dining out tomorrow. The camera had a wide angle lens and we can view the entire room. It gives the ability to talk to our dogs when out somewhere. I can’t believe such technology is available at such little cost
