AC Infinity Large Humidity Dome, Heavy-Duty Germination Kit.

This seed-starter enclosure is very high quality. It came remarkably well packed for shipping, and was received without any damage. It is more expensive than most other seed-starter enclosure models, but I think that the extra cost is worth it. This product is clearly designed for growing hemp; it even comes with a booklet entitled "intro to growing hemp". However, it is not ideal for growing vegetables. The seed tray has 60 cells, which are too small. I used 18 3.15" square peat pots instead. These aren't quite as stable in the tray as I would like; you might consider adding a peat-pot tray. One design flaw is that the clear dome does not seal well against the black plastic tray. I solved this by adding 3/8"x5/16" weatherstripping along the bottom rim.

I now have five of these and I use them as mini greenhouses. I live tiny so I need tiny greenhouses and they work great for me. Considering how expensive glass greenhouses and they don't keep the humidity in very well, and are hard to work with these work great for me, I live in Arizona with hot dry weather in summer and hot dry wood heating in winter. I just set one up yesterday and am waiting for my mint plants to arrive. They also work great for quarantined new plants. I use bonsai techniques for keeping the tropicals with high humidity needs small, and I grow them all in leca, (expanded clay balls.)These are very clear,like glass, sturdy and packaged very well, would highly recommend. FYI, I've been gardening inside and out for 50 years, not counting working in my mother's and grandparents gardens as a little girl

This literally solved my seedling issues. Works very well when paired with a heating mat. I use the AC infinity lights that pop right into the top. I drop my tent’s sensor through a top vent hole, and use that to control the seedling grow inside my 4x4. It rarely fails (90% or better). Super durable. Thick plastic. I have dropped this and kicked it a few times and there is hardly a scratch. Assembly is easy. Paired with my grow controller, maintaining humidity is a breeze. Speaking of breeze, plenty of vent holes that adjust. I tried a variety of ways to grow seedlings and I found this one to be most simple as whatever you set the VPD at for the sensor, the surrounding environment will become that VPD. As a result, that air passively enters the dome, allowing for a more controlled grow at the desired VPD range.

The quality of this tray is High. I do wish the cells were a little more sturdy BUT the kit is worth the money, esp considering you can place different seed trays within the watering tray, I also wish I purchased the kit with the lights. But I would definitely buy this whole kit again. This is a great kit for all skill level gardeners.

So, living on retirement I have to buy things a little at a time and budget. Purchased the heating mat first and then this tray thinking I could buy the lights when I could afford it. Well folks, you can never afford them since they are not sold separately, would have been nice to know. And if you use a single T5, well the vents are over center designed for use with their lights. Waste of money, better products out there AC Infinity hit a goose egg with this one no support. Update: Well that didn't last long, had to replace the light I already had due to poor vent placement on the top. Ended up with a cheap Home Depot bulb to be able to use it. Do yourselves a favor skip this unless you're buying it with the lights... waste of money.

Having ordered and being thoroughly impressed with the small version of ACI's humidity dome, I opted to spend on their larger model expecting the same. This was not the case. The bottom base and inserts are of the same excellent quality of the smaller model although that's where the similarities end. The top dome portion of the set is of flexible flimsy plastic unlike the hard clear shell of the smaller variant. The smaller version also had separate side walls for different heights. In some drawing this appears to have the same although it is not the case, it's a single flimsy piece of plastic. The high price is definitely not worth the quality you'd expect from AC Infinity. I'd highly recommend the smaller version of this and it's price.

Pricey, but it's sturdy and well designed. I'll probably end up buying a second one. Wholeheartedly recommend it.

It's a little pricey for a humidity dome, but it is excellent quality so I would recommend it if you don't mind the price.
