When is ajar not a jar?
I had mistakenly thought these would clip sideways onto doors but they're actually meant to go over the top of the door so they can't fall off. And they work better that way as you can slide them along the width of the door depending on how big a gap you want to leave the door ajar. The one exception is my kitchen door where I have fit one on sideways because as well as leaving the door ajar, I wanted to stop it slamming against a counter. Obviously the door has to be a certain thickness for this to work, otherwise it wouldn't fit on.These have the flexible texture of firm sponge, so when they hit the door frame(or counter) they don't make a bang, but compress making little or no sound.

Danger!
Crap and dangerous! Just one slam with the door and it broke and fell off the door, the next thing I saw my 1 year old baby chewing on it, at first I didn't even know what it was she was chewing, then i suddenly realized it was the door guard, waist of money and safety hazard too, especially as I was buying to stop the door from slamming my kids. I strongly don't recommend this item. Delivery was on time but item is crap. There was 3 more in the park which I chucked straight into the bin, not reliable at all

Fantastic!
Such a cheap fantastic way to prevent doors slamming from draughts or breezes through the house on those hot nights and more importantly little fingers getting trapped! My son was always careful when playing with doors but even then when you call out "Watch your fingers!" you still cringe and curl up inside waiting for that cry of pain... Not with these, you simply put them on top of the door and job done. Depending on where you put them, closer to the door hinge will mean the door is more open, closer to the handle end will mean the door being more closed.Simple and ideal. You hardly know they are there being white on white doors too!

Does the job.
A simple, cheap and effective method to stop internal doors from slamming shut. They are simple to fit on the top of the door, leave no marks when removed, and do the job. Highly recommend.

They won't last forever but they're cheap and do the job
I looked at many similar door guards on Amazon, they all had mixed reviews, in the end I plumped for these as they're cheap and have no worse reviews than anything else. They fit my doors fine and despite a little one playing with the door they're holding up well, they won't last forever I'm sure but for under a couple of quid they're disposable

Massive
Now in tool box. They keep the doors from slamming when they stay on. Some doors they slip down on some they won't fit so are difficult to get on, and some get taken off by the other half cos they look silly and mean we can't ever use the door they're fitted to. I found they worked and stayed in place best when stuck on top of the door. They're very bulky

Great buy
I'm always worried about my grandchildrens little fingers in my doors. They have a habit of loving to close them. This is peace of mind for me. I pop one over the top of the door and it stops it closing.

Good for a short period
Seems great first. Easy and work well. But last about 2 weeks! The flex goes so they don’t stay on the door after a while
