This little wonder works a treat. Reduced my APU temperature by around 10C whilst laptop was idle, and a touch more whilst under heavy load. It does make some noise...a fair bit more than the onboard laptop fan...but that is to be expected. Product is ideally suited for when rested on a hard and flat surface, though I've been using it on my lap without any issues; just a case of ensuring that it is seated right as it doesn't clip onto your laptop exhaust as some similar products do. I've been monitoring temperatures through Core Temp, MSI Afterburner, and RivaTuner, and they all show the same temperature reductions. The cooler comes with a scroll-wheel for adjusting fan speed, which I've been setting on full power.

While gaming, I used to experience horrible lags when the temperature of my laptop rose too high and after using this I never had any lags caused by high temperatures again. Only giving this three stars as it stopped working after less than 6 months but if longevity is not an issue for you, then by all means this is an excellent product that drops the temperature of my laptop by 5-10 degrees celcius while gaming. Another thing, it is very, very noisy. Seems to work, dropping the internal temps by several degrees which is good for general laptop health. It is quite loud at full blast, but if you use headphones you'll probably blot it out. Good value and works as intended, though pre Nvidia 10xx laptops the laptop cards aren't comparable to their desktop counterparts so you won't be able to get much more performance out of them (over buying a new machine entirely) so don't expect miracles. If you want to run a generally cooler machine for non-gaming this should do the job if your stock fan setup isn't that good. If your existing fan is good, you won't see much difference at all.

I purchased this as a short term solution to keep a laptop running until I could find a replacement for a noisy and slow running internal fan that was causing the processor to overheat - had it running for about 4 weeks and it did the job of cooling the laptop. I simply selected the best fitting silicone seal and pushed it against the air vent at the side of the laptop. - the processor temperature was measured on the laptop so I could visually see the temperature of the processor dropping when I pushed the Amnie fan into position. As a short term solution it kept my work laptop fully functioning so it was well worth the money even thought it was only used for a few weeks.

Great product it really works !i'm using it with the "HAVIT HV-F2056 Cooling pad" and it really did Cooldown my laptop (10°C to 20°C). The only downside would be the noise, it get really loud on max power.

The Amnie Air Vacuum really does bring down the temperature on my laptop, which gets quite hot when under pressure. Using a thumb wheel on the side of the Amnie allows adjustment of the fan speed, and whilst it is quiet at low and medium speeds, it is audible at maximum speed, but not overly so and I find it a small price to pay for the good work that it does. The underside of my laptop got quite hot when working hard, but since using the Amnie, the laptop casing feels constantly cool. Fitting is easy, it's just a matter of choosing the silicon shroud (there are 4 different shapes provided) that best covers the slots in the laptop, slide the Amnie into position against the slots, plug the usb fitting into an available usb socket on your laptop and adjust the fan speed to suit! I can highly recommend this product, it's a very good product at a good price.

I have to do lots of high load compiling work, and my processor heats up to 90 °C in my Dell XPS 15 L502X. I tried this device as a standalone solution and the temperature was only lowered to 89 °C, which means absolutely no difference. I tried also with a cooling platform bought to the same brand. In this case, the temperature went from 87 °C with the platform only to 83 °C with both devices, which is still disappointing. Apart from that, the build quality of the product is quite good for the price, and the attaching system allows it to be used with any kind of cooling grid, there's no problem on that side. Summarising: the device doesn't do the job if it's not used with a cooling platform, and even in that case you can't expect magic. It just won't happen with this kind of product.
