BG Electrical Double Switched Fast Charging Power Socket with Three USB Charging Ports

I found this socket was easy to install, straight swap with the old one, I've had it for about a month now, usb charging sockets are fine as expected. The usb remain connected if the sockets are off. No hum or noise Seems to be up to the usual safety standards and good quality.I like the screw caps which prevent dust gathering in the screw holes and improve the appearance.

I haven't had to change a plug for many years but after my daughter broke hers (the ends of a plug came off in the socket) I had to change it. I saw this one that not only had the two sockets but also 3 USB charging ports and after watching the install video decided to pick it up. My daughter has so many things that use a USB port.This came fast, was super easy to install and fitted perfectly in to the the same place once I took the old plug part out. Hopefully there will be no problems in the future but at the moment everything works and I and my daughter are super happy with it. Would recommend these to anyone else needing to change a socket. Great idea.

Bought to reach a facia where the usb chargers no longer worked. Easy to fit and all worked straight away. Whilst can have 3 usb things plugged in at once this does seem to slow the charger down as they share the load, has not been a issue so far, just glad to get the charger back for a decent price. Comes with fitting screws too which not the case with some others.

This was very easy to install with good instructions on Amazon ad and with the item. It seems of good quality, decent speed charging and everything works just fine. I really don’t have anything to complain about and its great for the price.

I bought three of these I was doing my kitchen out and wanted usbs to connect to power lights but didn’t want the adapters these solved my problem fit perfectly and look brilliant will definitely be buying more

Best usb sockets I've used most are just 2 gang this is 3 so simple to install but I am an electrician but will be so simple for the novice

Well made with nice switch action. Fits in a 25 mm box which is an advantage as many USB sockets require a 35mm box, but it is a bit of a squeeze. You have to be careful that the conductors do not cross over each other between the back of the socket and the back of the box. My one criticism and the reason for four stars rather than five is the power output of the USB sockets is not as advertised. It will deliver 3.1 A divided between the three sockets rather than 3.1A to each one as is implied, so if you're buying it for its USB power output as I was, don't. There is a version available with a total charger output of 4.2 A though.
