It did not take long to install this drive to replace an old and worn HDD. I could have cloned it from the old drive in my Tooploo but I wanted to upgrade frfom 8.1 to 10 so I started afresh and to be honest, I am glad I did. I have started loading some othe programmes but not nearly so many as before which means the laptop is very fast. How long will it last? How long is a piece of string? It works well and has all the space I expect from it. The Fanxiang is a good quality but low priced SSD and yes, I would recommend it.

Used as a replacement internal hard drive for my Xbox One due to my old drive failing. Working perfectly so far but it's only been one day so will update my review if there are any issues. One thing to note, the advertised 1TB is based on the decimal system (1x10^12). Actual space is 931GB as computers use the binary system (1GB = 2^30 or 1024^3). This is perfectly normal and all hard drives are advertised this way. Also worth noting, the XBox One uses/reserves 150GB for operating system etc. so I actually have 781GB available for my games etc. which I'm very happy with.

Lets hope for 2024. Thing is you want a disk to last a few years and then die softly.

Really good bit of kit. Bought it for my lads Xbox series S to store games on. Made him aware that he can’t play series X|S games from this drive, but he can move games or data around quickly from this drive to his Xbox, and vice versa. We use a universal hard drive reader to make it accessible. This works out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the official seagate xbox storage add-on drive , at the expense of non-instant playability.

I bought this to replace a smaller SSD that was full. It has worked well and I was able to clone the information from the old ssd to the new. I only both this brand because I am using their NVME drives without issue.

Pre-prepared a bootable windows install USB, then removed the old HHD and substituted the SSD. Booted the USB and loaded Windows. It took longer to transfer the old data back onto the drive than it did to do the initial install. Together with an increase in memory size a significant impovement in the speed of the Laptop was achieved.

Got this at the same time as a P3 NVMe drive, but I did something silly with this drive before I put it into my laptop (to replace an aging 1TB HDD)... I voided the warranty and opened it, genuinely curious as to whether the metal shell was being utilised as a heatsink. I had considered putting it in my mini PC but was concerned it might get too hot being sat right above an NVMe and a wifi card. Turns out the metal case is just for show, the chips inside do not make any contact with it & shoving some thermal pads in there for good measure probably made little difference to the temperatures (it has peaked at 49c even under full load, so it appears to take care of itself anyway). This was one of those "risky" purchases and I do not recommend voiding the warranty but this drive has been doing exactly what it is meant to do and for that, I cannot fault it yet!

This review is for "S012 Pro" SSD I have been very reluctant to try this brand, not expecting the quality of well known brands like Samsung or Western Digital which I've used for years. But prices on those SSD's have gone up a lot the last few months and being on a budget I decided to give this brand a try finally. I was impressed with a few things 1. I really liked when I saw this SSD's case was metal. Why? Metal dissipates heat way better than plastic but most manufacturers (who used to use a metal) now make the case out of plastic -cheaper for them but not as good for us. That is a plus for this brand. 2. My Black Magic Speed Test was quite good. 500 for reads and about 460 for writes (2.5"SATA) Quite respectable. The S102 was reasonable, performed well and had good value. A very decent SSD.

SSD to the rescue! My laptop is now blazing faster than Blaze and AJ😂

I have been using this drive for a few weeks. The time to boot is around 1 minute in total which is a little faster than the hard drive that it replaced. I thought that it would be a little faster, but it may be an issue with Windows10. The image above shows the read - write speeds. This is on an 8 year old lap top so it will never be super fast. Over all it seems to work fine and is fairly fast. It was very easy to migrate Win 10 to the new SSD. The first boot took a little while , but subsequent boots were much faster. I have had no issues with the new drive so far and hope it will last a long time with no problems.

Fixed my hardrive/game data errors from occurring! Weird that also my internet connection never dropped out or any connection problems to internet stopped as well! Would always have to test my internet thru the ps4 to have it sign in. Not anymore! Plus it’s so much faster then the original hardware
