Just completely brilliant. A really fun project and a nice, strong dome which we're currently making a cover for. The team were really helpful in sending us some info about how to make covers.If I had one complaint about this kit it'd be that it makes things a little TOO easy and I like a challenge =) But it's perfect for building something really cool with kids if you have 'em, or just a nice Saturday afternoon project if you like doing fun stuff. When we invite people over to our house they all marvel at the dome, and want one themselves.

This is brilliant, really good quality and hours of fun during lockdown. I had seen a review saying the skrews provided were poor quality, that was not my experience at all, everything in the kit is very good quality, instructions were easy to follow, and it worked out perfectly. We made it just for fun so now we have to think of what to use it for.

Being not very handy I had help putting this together and adding a door frame. Works out pretty expensive once you buy wood plastic trim etc but I love it. Still working on it will put finished pic later

Think it could be bit cheaper for the kit but still good product one small thing washers on underside where locking the system could be bit bigger easy to build calculating instructions vey good great for outdoor project

We used this kit with broom handles to create a dome just over 4m diameter. I purchased two packs of 50 Silverline broom handles. The instructions are clear and easy to follow provided you actually read them. Important to work as a team when building it because during the build it is quite floppy, but once the base ring is complete it is very rigid. We then added extra broom handles to the base to lift the whole dome to give more head height as the 2m height of a 4m dome was a bit low. The hubs work well. Just take care, it is possible to nip a finger while clicking them into place. Once bitten, twice shy.The completed dome has mysterious powers. It left us feeling strangely satisfied that we'd built something that looks so complex in just a few minutes. And when we built it in the New Forrest, strangers were drawn irresistibly towards it from a wide area. I've yet to find out what diseases it can cure, but I'm sure there are some. Sadly no communications from extra-terrestrials so far.

Really amazed and the ingenuity of this product. Used with roffing batten and made to slightly larger than they recommend and it is fine, it has stayed in tact for several weeks now and I haven't even secured the joints with the cover bits yet. Highly recommend, goes up quick and the connectors ate high quality with clever features.

I have built several geodesics over the years and thought I’d give these hubs a try. One word of advice - save your money. They constantly pop out of the hubs, I spent twenty kinds on some bigger washes as the ones that came with it were way too small. Wish I’d never bothered, there a plenty of cheaper and better ways of building a geodesic, just look online

Excellent design. It took a while to make all the sticks required, but I now have a complete dome. Now I need to make a covering. Good project.
