This little toaster is a handy little device for grilled sandwiches, IF used correctly. The instructions clearly state for use only with 800 watt microwaves. As other reviewers have stated, you can use it with higher power ovens. It will not damage the toaster itself. But if you try to follow the instructions with a 1200 watt oven, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Any cheese will melt completely, and the bread may get rock hard. The trick with a more powerful oven is to remember to reduce its power. My microwave is 1250. I put it on half power. It took several tries to figure out the best settings and cook time to get a good grilled ham and cheese sandwich. But it was certainly worth the effort! Just remember this trick if your oven is higher than 800 watts.

Idk why i assumed it was plastic? But to my pleasant surprise, its silicone. And the grill plates pop ALL THE WAY out of the silicone, so there’s never going to be icky residue getting stuck in crannies that cant be cleaned. (Just make sure the grills align when reassembling as noted in the instructions). I sprayed my bread with some olive oil, 2 slices of cheese. 1 minute on each side (1000W) and instant hot snack. Sorry no photos, i was anxious to get my grub on.Want grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch at the office? This is your ticket. Just bring your potholders, this bad boy is hot when its done. (Instructions say you can make up to 4 in a row before having to let it cool for 30 mins.) pretty cool.

I have a big plug in panini maker, but I thought this one would be good for a quick lunch and I got it on a sale so I figured it was worth a try. What a surprise! This little maker is fantastic!! It maybe the best I’ve ever owned! It was super quick, easy to use, and clean up was a breeze! Plus the toasted bread was just perfect. It’s a miraculous little thing!I definitely recommend.

I like the toaster because it doesn’t require space on my kitchen counter. It is easy to clean in the dishwasher. It is the size of a slice of bread so it easily fits in a drawer. I tried to use it to toast an English muffin but that didn’t brown it or toast the muffin. It is easier to use than a standard toaster which has to be plugged into an electric outlet.

Ok, I very seldom talk about anything. I am a great buyer of Amazon products but I am a disabled war American soldiers who is disabled. This product yes is small but so so handy. I will be using every day yess I am surprised that a famous company called Westinghouse came up with this microwave cooker. I use this for all types of items of food. This is great to cook the Tater tots all meets this unit leaves the famous brown cook lines on the product. Remember to spry anny Pam stay on both sides It is hot item when out of the Micro wave oven.

Read various reviews to get an idea how long to cook your grilled cheese sandwich. About 1-1.5min one side and 0.5 - 1min on other side. Is strong function of how thick the bread is. So easy to clean in Dishwasher.

Handy for travel. We really miss a toaster when we travel so I was happy but so surprised to find this. I put a slice of bread in it and it toasted both sides on the first try.

This is a handy little sandwich maker. A little too expensive but it works. It's a quick way to make a hot sandwich.

Although a little on the expensive side, this microwave sandwich toaster is amazing. Cooks and toasts better than any frypan. Takes a few minutes, less mess and all parts are dishwasher safe. You do need to use oven mits when turning and removing from microwave. I’ve never seen these available in Australia, but it is worth waiting for the order to be sent from the USA.

I got this for my brother for Christmas he loves it. Nice crisp toasties
