This is a quality piece, H-D branded, without the gut-punch price
This is a quality helmet with beautiful paint, and it's comfortable on my head. It had a little pull-tab to open the rings & loosen the strap, but that piece ripped off. I just put a small piece of thin nylon cord to do the same job. For around $100, that's not too bad for a DOT-approved dome. I purchased this type of half-helmet because I was intent on 'fashioning' a clear shield for wind & bug protection. It wasn't easy! The visor screws on the helmet no longer align with the face shield mounting, like on my old Fulmer Trooper helmet. It proved difficult but I was finally able to do it. But like a jackazz I tightened the plastic screws too tight on the visor and cracked it. So I hadda patch it and do it all over. And it's still holding after thousands of miles of riding.

HD helmet seems to be of good qualit just missing a party
Helmet seemed very nice but notice upon arrival it was missing a bkack visor screw. I have reached out to seller to see about a replacement. Will update after their response.update seller responded quickly and is sending the replacement screw. I am very happy with my purchase.i will definately purchase seller again in the future.

Not the weight advertised
This helmet weighs 2 pounds out of the box. This is the third helmet I’ve ordered that claims to be just over a pound but actually weighs 2 or more pounds.

The only half-helmet with good ear protection!
I chose this helmet for one simple reason - I couldn't find any other half-helmet that completely covers my ears, requiring me to use earplugs at any speed over 45mph. Maybe others don't have this problem, but that doesn't change the facts of availability. Good fit, comfortable, and it keeps my ears comfy and warm with temps down to 50+ F, with no earplugs needed.
