Inova UV LED Torch - Titanium, 4.75 x 0.87 Inch

I am a London Taxi Driver and I bought this UV torch after being paid with a fake £50 note. There are several cheaper UV torches for sale, but I wanted a well made torch I could rely on to tell a forged bank note. After reviewing several torches, this one came highly recommended. I was convinced this was a good buy after watching a YouTube video comparing this model to a cheap £10 torch, that was next to usless in showing up the UV detection on a bank note. This torch feels very well made and will no doubt last for years and clearly shows the UV detection on bank notes. Highly recommended.

Great UV torch, has an excellent throw. Might be worth getting some eye protection if you're getting this and using it for long periods. It's well made, machined aluminium, has a momentary push button on the bottom or the whole bottom section twists for fully on/off.Yes, it does also show security protection on bank notes, and various bodily fluids too. If that's your thing.

Well made and bright on full setting.I'm not a great fan of the on/off switch but that's personal. I also think, for the price, they could have added a lanyard cord.

Its better than any cheap ones you can get as the body it titanium and the LED is high quality it emits a bright light without needing too many LEDs

A very nicely made torch. With an titanium anodized aluminium body and a stainless steel head that protects the recessed LEDs it's certainly tough enough to withstand rough handling. The on/off switch is interesting - screw it in tight and the unit is switched on. Screw it part-way down and the rubberised button on the end cap acts as a flashlight switch (on while depressed, off when released). Unscrew it a bit more and it's "safe" and can't be switched on - which helps save battery life. The front of the unit has a UV hazard warning sticker, and it's essential to heed it's advice as the UV light generated by the 5 LEDs could do serious damage if looked at directly.The fixed LED mounting and lack of a lens means that there's no changing the beam shape and in use it casts a wide, even beam with a useful range of about 10m. I bought it to spot scorpions and it does a good job, although compared to some other torches, the light is less intense and consequently the fluorescence it creates not as strong.3 stars overall, losing one for the quality of the beam and another for the price. there are much cheaper options available.

Had a different uv torch before.. it was great..then it had mild tumble to carpeted floor and broke! ..this oen feels a lot lot more sturdier... originally bought to find out wehre bad tom cat form neighbours was getting in and spraying in the house..but horrer of horrers... now i know why little pug puppy so happy to escape up to my bedroom ... will have to get carpets professionaly cleaned AGAIN!!! ANd for goodness sake... if you live with a man/boy.. dont shine it round the toilet bowl in the dark... yo'll never want to use bathroom again.... actually.. you'll make them go out in the garden/street, far far away from the house!

Sturdy construction, feels solid, rather expensive for what it is but sure will last a long while. The switch is rather clever as it allows to either switch it on constantly or keeping it switched on while you are pressing the button.

Well made and functional UV light. Don't expect millions of lumens but bright enough for most UV requirements

When I first turned this on,m was I surprised! This lightbeam is strong! it lit up articles clear across a 30" room. Used it to trace water leak using UV reactive invisible dyes.GO NO FURTHER has 2 spectrums 365nm and 405nm, truly and the LEDS are as claimed strong as hercules. So good I just ordered another to keep for traveling.I was nervous when wife said-check our bathroom, and we found - not a drop. However if you want some hilarious fun guys, just leave lights off when going #1, and turn on this flashlight and point at toilet bowl, then GO! Be careful, you will laugh so hard, you might just miss the bowl.Seriously this is one powerhouse of a light in a small penlight form factor.My only criticism is that I wish it had a lanyard-that would be perfect.

Au bout de deux ou trois ans la puissance a diminué au point d'atteindre la puissance d'une lampe à 10 balles... Changer les piles (hors de prix) n'y change rien.Donc beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité

Valido attrezzo per controlli di polizia su documenti e banconote. Prodotto di ottima fattura. Buono anche il sistema di accensione ad avvitamento anche se poco intuitivo. A differenza di altri commenti confermo i 365nm dichiarati.
