This LED strip did exactly what it says. It was easy to cut and install to an existing 120V light switch. Just beware of the width if you want to do custom jobs to cut and reconnect multiple times. There are not many options around made for this width. Overall nice and bright and dimmable. Happy with the purchase

Bought this product for its ability to be run on straight line voltage 120v. Therefore no “box” drivers are needed to step the voltage down to low voltage. I installed a small splice box with a WEGO inside for connection to a wall dimmer. Worked out very nicely. The tape is encapsulated in a silicone tube with sticky backer and clips. I decided to build mine into an aluminum track for a better look. Good product, also the 120volt design allows you to run longer lengths than the typical low voltage style does. So cove lighting around a room this is perfect for.

The LED is bright and I like the silicon IP65 shield but the adhesive is very weak. I tested it with attaching the cut 35" length to stainless steel refrigerator top using the adhesive and within 24 hours the strip was 30% fallen off from the adhesive. Now trying to remove the very weak adhesive and it is paper-thin stuck on the silicon IP65 sleeve so it is painfully slow process. I wish they had left off the adhesive so I could have used 3M double sided tape. I would recommend this LED if you don't intend to use the adhesive or use the screws and brackets. I can't drill and screw the LED into the commercial refrigerator.

Easy to install and looks nice.

I got this for under counter kitchen lights. PROS: - very bright, great for kitchen - flexible - short increments for cuts - comes with brackets CONS: - heats up after a few minutes and starts to flicker, obviously a major deal breaker - glue tape on the bottom is useless, doesn’t sticks to the kitchen cabinets Giving it 2 stars for great brightness and some potential applications where the usage doesn’t require it to be ON for more than 10 minutes. Otherwise, given the price and failure to meet basic expectations it was a waste of money

I ordered the 5000 K for the brightness and these are dimmable. So you get the bright light and then you can control how bright it is. You could light a space with just this. If you like the yellow dim color, use the 2700 K. If you wanna 10:00 AM light use the 4000 K or get the five and put it on a dimmer. You can also cut where they mark on the tape, which makes it super user-friendly and it comes with a plug with a sturdy connection so if you just wanna plug them in and use them that way you can. Don’t rely on the adhesive on the back that’s just to help with the initial placement And then you can use a plastic staple for three-quarter inch width electrical to hold it in place securely. Do not puncture the tape unless you have some electrical background and know where you can do that. I’m not writing this product based on the adhesive tape. It’s just to help with placement.

When we relocated the kitchen we also wanted hardwired under cabinet led lights. This was perfect for our purpose. Can feed power from either end so we had two ends prewired for power which was perfect as the lights were on either side of the stove. I also installed a junction box for each feed. Enough left over to also do my daughter’s cabinets.

great adhesion with 3M adhesive. I bought another set since 1st was so nice. Only thing, do not do what I did. I had lights plugged in and cut them to make shorter. Bad idea. Popped my breaker and welded my scissors together
