For a relatively cheap airtight container, in comparison to some I have had in the past, I wasn't expecting much, which is honestly when I am shocked the most and I love it. This Airtight Glass Food Storage Jar with Brass Lid, not only looks amazing, with you being able to see within it without disturbing the seal, but does actually form a good airtight seal.In fact, maybe a too good a seal. On times, the seal that is formed is a little difficult to open, so those who are weaker, may struggle when it comes to opening the lid off of this tub, simple because its a pull sort of release and you have to pull past that seal. Although, time will be the test.The most annoying thing about this container is how easily the brass lid gets dirty!! The lid picks up any and all finger prints and grease that touches it and then also making it quite difficult to scrub it off.

Fantastic product, great look and can be user for many different uses

I've used this jar for all of 1 week for work purposes. During that time the 'air tight' lid came off twice and spilled all over my car and now the borrom has broken off. What a waste of money !!!

I bought these jars to match my new kitchen. I do find that they are very fragile, the glass is a little on the thin side. I have to becareful when I'm trying to open and close the jars. The lids silicone closer its not very good, as its keeps coming out of its position.The lid is golden, the colour has already started to fade.It's not the greatest buy, but it will do for now until I find an appropriate replacement.

Looks nice and all, but the rubber band around the lid won't seal properly - whatever you store inside the jar will "smell through" anyways (or get in contact with air and not keep fresh).The lid tends to get filled with water if washed in the dishwasher - which isn't specified anywhere as a "don't" - and will take forever to dry.

Van erg slechte kwaliteit. Het binnenwerk van de deksel kom los van het gouden ijzer en sluit niet goed af.

Die Gläser sind durch das goldene Detail der Deckel sehr hübsch. Allerdings habe ich beim auspacken festgestellt, dass der Gummi des Deckels, an fast allen Gläsern geklebt war. Bei einem Glas ist der Gummi beim aufmachen sogar zum Teil eingerissen. Auch beim abspülen habe ich die klebenden Gummireste nicht ganz vom Glas lösen können. Ich finde die Gläser sehr hochpreisig, was für mich allerdings dadurch schlüssig war, dass es sich als sehr schwierig erweist,Vorratsdosen mit Golddeckel zu finden. Allerdings sollte bei einem höheren Preis die Qualität auch stimmen. Deshalb gebe ich drei Sterne, da die Produkte schön und nach dem ersten öffnen auch gut verwendbar sind.
