Gives you an excellent idea of what's of interest and when.
It is a big help in deciding what to plant in my redesigned garden, particularly to create interest throughout the year. My previous garden was very much a spring garden with little of interest at other times.

Reluctant Gardener Is Given Advice And Ideas
I'm a reluctant gardener, only mowing the lawn when neighbour complains. As long as it's clean, tidy, and safe for me to sit in the garden and the Hedgehogs and other wildlife - including neighbourhood cats - are happy, then I'm happy. So as a reluctant gardener I bought this for the month by month to-do list in the hope it will help me get into a routine of doing the jobs I need to do at the right time - and in the right way. (In the hope of keeping my neighbour happy - but that's a much bigger job than my garden!!)It's packed with useful information on what to do, when to do it and how to do it. It's even given me some ideas on what to plant to help even more wildlife to visit my garden and see it as a Haven.I personally would have liked a little more information on helping hedgehogs and other wildlife, maybe a section on it's own at the back, but other than that I found this book very informative and would definitely recommend it for beginners - no matter their age. It's also produced by the RHS, you can't get better advice so you can't go to far wrong following the advice in this handy pocket-sized book.

Great little book
I got this on offer stated as used in good condition and it was a great price and actually in excellent condition. It arrived really quickly and have really enjoyed reading it and learning lots. I would definitely recommend it for any amateur/beginner gardeners.

This book is very small
I didn’t look at the book dimensions & was expecting a normal sized hardback. Instead I got a ridiculously small one. Not impressed.

Compact book with lots of information- perfect for beginners
Bought this book as I am starting to take my gardening interest a little more seriously. Previously I was an almost accidental gardener- Plant something in a pot and see if it grows. This year I have been more deliberate with my planting, but have been quite late due to weather, so my flowers are just starting to bloom mid July. This book should hopefully put an end to all of that.Packed with information on what to do and when, this book will mean the end of a big slog in Summer as I can garden throughout the year. The biggest change for me next year will be planning- with the help of this book I'll pick out what to plant in advance, and will be arranging it on time. (I might even buy a little mini greenhouse to help!)The book is colour coded by month, and also gives a handy little summarised planner at the back. A monthly to-do list which also includes caring for your tools etc. There are lots of photos which are great for me- I will be able to easily identify the plants that I already have and plan based on whether they will return next year or not.I would definitely recommend this book for beginners or even for people like me who are just starting to get into their gardening.

Pequeño
El contenido esta bien pero el formato no me resulta agradable para un libro de esta tematica, podia haber sido mas grande. Es muy pequeño.

It's instructing.
Si no estás segura sobre qué plantar y cuándo, este es tu libro. El clima inglés y el gallego se parecen, así que es muy útil.
