I bought 2 of these so I could link the telephone port on my virgin router into an rj45 wall socket, route through my patch panel and out to another rj45 socket downstairs and into the phone. Worked perfectly and meant I didn't need to move my phone.

Well made cable with sensible pricing, the plugs are fitted well and not showing any poor fitting as I have seen from other manufacturers. Good value for money if you need to connect further from the wall socket, or your internet hub via an adapter.

Got a new router and found that they are now WAN ethernet ports not the older RJ11. Things have moved on and I'm no techy. We still do not have full fibre in our street so still have the old BT phone socket RJ11. I did not think this would work but it was not clear (to me at least) from the description. You cannot use this to connect a new ethernet router to the old phone socket. Different signals. You need an ADSL modem still.

Used to patch from a BT wall socket into a piece of Cat6 & re-site modem. You’ll need two plus couplers to do this.
