My daughter loved this, it was a birthday gift, easy to use and clean, nice choice of light colours and very calming in her room when on.

Therefore the product will need to be within reach of a mains socket.HumidifyingThe set of the device is fairly standard with adding of water to the small tank after removing the lampshade cover. To add an aroma to the water vapour, I added a few drops of essential oil to the water.ControlI used the Tuya app on my phone (see screen shots). It connected very easily and provides a single page of options for the device, including brightness of the lamp - very good if using as a night light.Auto offThere are two options, through the app or on the front of the device. There is a choice of 1h, 3h or 6hours and the additional option of turning the humidifier off altogether and only using the light features.ColoursThere is a wide range of colours that you can set the lamp to show, I tried lots of the colours around the colour wheel on the app and although a few did not represent the chosen colour, there are still lots to choose from and the dimming feature in the app too.NoiseHaving the humidifier on emits a very small amount of noise. We are not affected by this at all. Of course you can pre-set the humidifier to turn off too.Smart connectivityI successfully connected to my smart speaker (I only have Alexa) and this worked fine - although on and off were the only things I could get it to do.

Having already got the Tuya app for other smart devices, this Zoeson Essential Oil Diffuser Humidifier was easy to set up and have running in no time. The diffuser is simple yet stylish at the same time from an aesthetic point of view and lends itself to most interior decor. I have actually been using it near to a Monserta Alba (variegated Swiss Cheese) houseplant, as I needed to improve the humidity for the plant to grow. With the app and the humidifier, I am able to set the on/off timer very easily. I just need to remember to top up with water, but given it has a generous 300ml reservoir this Zoeson humidifier needs topping up only every so often. I have tested with essential oil, just to see how well the fragrance fills the room with this device, and it too works well (I used lavender), and the whole of the bedroom (which is quite large) was filled with the scent.

This is a quite nice and versatile oil diffuser, but also comes with a bunch of extra functionality which can be easily accessed by using the free to download 'Tuya Smart' app which is available for both Android and iPhone from the respective app stores.In it's simplest mode you just add water to the diffusers reservoir and then a few drops of your favourite essential oil if you want to add fragrance. There is a mark you need to respect to prevent over filling the device, but this is easy to see.Once you have setup the diffuser in the app you then get access to a whole host of functions. The diffuser operations are the obvious first things you can play with and this allows you to set the time period the diffuser should run for etc... and can even allow you to setup a schedule to turn it on and off at specified times.However there are also additional things you can do as the other main function of the unit is for it to be used as a nightlight, again you can set schedules or whatever. But in addition to this you can set the intensity of the light, and any colour using RGB colour controls.Overall this is a great little unit, if there is only one thing that could perhaps have been provided it would be a remote control in case you don't have a smart phone although to be fair most people do these days and it is potentially just another remote to lose or misplace!

This is a really nice looking diffuser, I have many so I can compare fairly here. The look is very straightforward and simple in design with the white look and rose gold at the bottom, which is very on trend. Its very easy to set up manually, literally add water to the line or below whatever you prefer and add a couple of drops of your favourite diffuser/aromatherapy oil and press go. Now this diffuser also has an app to use which allows you to have control of this machine remotely, personally I find this a little gimmicky and feel that the company are trying too hard however, I tried to set this all up but really I cant get it to work, I am not sure if its that my phone is struggling with the app or whatever, however, its not working for me and something this good shouldn't be this hard to operate. I give it three stars as I think the look is good and it gives a really good steam flow which is not always easy to get from these things, but as its marketed around an app I have to leave it at the 3 stars as couldn't get it to work. If it had been just for the diffuser and no app I would have given more stars. Go figure.
