Used to be good, not any more
First one I bought lasted years, so when that finally broke I had no qualms ordering a new one.However, quality control has obviously gone downhill, or they're using cheaper materials now, because that one didn't even last 5 uses before one of the legs snapped away from the body, rendering it useless.

My one was broken from first use
I have just asked to return this as one of the legs was broken - and this was my first attempt to use this! However even if it had been 100% I don't think this would have properly supported my Kindle Fire in videoing mode as it seemed insubstantial and flimsy. Returning this for a refund, am disappointed.

excellent
Fits my kindle fire hdx fine, as well as smaller tablets and readers. Hold securely over drawing boards and easels when using reference photos, also managed to fix it on a camera tripod. stands securely on most surfaces.

Good ... for a while.
Good while it lasted. Five months before one of the main joints broke, which is very poor - especially as it did not get heavy use. And I thought these were supposed to be the "good" ones? Disappointing.

Really great product, makes the tablet so much more versatile. Plus it looks like a giant spider so could come in handy for practical jokes too!

Love it! Bought it to attach the tablet to the back of the car headrest so my granddaughter can watch films on long journeys and it does the job perfectly.

Arthritic Hands
I use the Spiderpodium to hold my Kindle Fire, using two legs as a handle. This allows me to view in bed without dropping the fire all the time. A good bit of kit.
