Sauce Shop Green Sriracha Hot Sauce, 255g

This is an absolutely delicious sauce, one of the best I have tasted, marred only by the choice of packaging. The idea of a squeeze bottle is great, but it will only work properly if the sauce is absolutely smooth, which this sauce isn't - it has lumps in it and even whole seeds. Consequently, when you try to squirt it onto your poached eggs it becomes (literally) a hit and miss affair - if anything gets lodged in the bottle's sphincter the sauce flow gets interrupted and/or comes out at a rakish angle. If it blocks completely and you increase the pressure sufficiently to clear the blockage, the resulting explosive release can spray sauce in many unintended directions - this morning I managed to spray my eggs, most of the table, my shirt and jeans, not to mention some if the kitchen floor. Not ideal. I plan to put the remaining sauce through the blender later to fix the problem before my cleaning bills get out of hand!

This is a fantastic and versatile hot sauce. I wasn’t sure whether it would live up to the hype of the online reviews or be worth paying a premium over the usual brands in the supermarket. I’m a convert. The sauce has a consistency close to ketchup and goes well with most dishes. This is now a regular on our shop and gets used from eggs at breakfast, to being added to sandwiches, as a pizza topping and Mexican food.

This is pretty hot but nice taste. I use sparingly but recommend the flavour and quality of the product. The red Sriracha sauce is nice too - not as hot as the green but still adds some zing!

The sauce its self is great. Has a great fresh taste as if the chillies had just been squeezed with a great level of heat and a little citrus zing to it. Great balanced flavour and a lot better (and hotter) than standard Sriracha sauce.Loses one star because it frequently gets stuck in the squirty top. You then press harder to clear the blockage and suddenly you have a lot more on your plate than you perhaps wanted...

First of all I love chilli sauce.Especially green chilli sauce.Second of all I usually use sauces depending on where they come from - Asian chilli sauce for Asian dishes, Mexican TexMex sauces for Mexican Texican dishes.This crossed the cultural boundaries for me.It’s delicious with with both Asian and TexMex food.If you like chilli you won’t be disappointed.My favourite of all time is the green Tabasco sauce.This is way up there with that with the additional benefit that it can be used with different cuisines.Well done Sauce Shop. You’re on my go to list for chilli sauce.

Best green chilli sauce I’ve tasted! Has a kick to it so you don’t need a lot. Love how these are only 5 ingredients and everyone I’ve recommended to has become a fan not only of the sauce but also the other condiments in the range
