Does the job
Despite there being no proof that cough medicine actually works with many doctors saying it doesn’t I find that it does and Covonia is always my go to despite this.It eases coughs quickly.Although the taste can be a bit yuk.Does the job though.Would recommend.

Really great cough medicine I’ll only ever use this brand. I’m an asthmatic and I personally have no issues from the menthol part in this

Covonia Chesty Cough Mixture
I am not keen on the really strong menthol flavour of this medicine. There is only a hint of liquorice and after about 5 minutes ended up with a bitter taste at the back of my throat. I only tried this at the tail end of my cold so not sure how effective it is. Luckily I tried this before going to bed and brushing my teeth which took the taste away. A cold would have to be really bad for me to try this cough medicine again. Glad I bought a small size.

SHAKE THE BOTTLE. Dose: For Oral Use: Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take 1 or 2 x 5ml spoonfuls. Children 5-12 years: Take 1 x 5ml spoonful. The dose may be repeated every 4 hours if required. Not recommended for children under 5 years. DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE. If symptoms persist or worsen consult your doctor.
