One of my favourite amiibo's but look out for the price
So before I say anything I was super lucky enough to pre order this figure for the regular price of £10.85 so before anyone thinks about buying this just know that I would not recommend paying anything over £20-£30 or any other insane price this goes for. Overall I think out of all the amiibo's so far this is probably one of the better sculpted amiibo's, everything seems proportioned well, he's easy to pick up and hold and there are lots of small details all over (for example the cool little scribbles on Robin's tome). His face definitely looks better when compared to other amiibo's like Marth, Ike and Shulk. His Levin sword also feels much less flimsy than Marth's sword as well. Overall as a big fan of Fire Emblem Awakening and Robin in general I think this figure represents him very well and it's honestly one of the best looking amiibo's so far.

Powerhouse Amiibo
First of all, this Amiibo is a BEAST to fight when built up in Smash Bros. Ike already does tons of damage, so I decided to knock it up even more trying to max Attack and Defense by feeding it equipment (at the cost of Speed, but Ike isn't going to be terribly fast with Speed anyway...). I gave it the following effects: All-Around Trade-Off (start with 60%, but slowly build Atk, Def, and Spe), Auto-Healer (Heal damage gradually over time), and No-Flinch Smaher (cannot be launched by standard attacks when charging a smash). The defense boost helps it survive starting out with 60%, and auto-healer slowly brings it's health back down to keep it around longer, and the longer it's around the more it's Atk, Def, and Spe go up. Long story short, Ike hits you, and you go bye-bye. He's not invincible, but out of all my amiibo (Link, Pikachu, Lucario, and Kirby), my friends and I all find Ike to be the hardest to take down.As far as the actual figure, it looks really good, and aside from the cape which is loose, it's seems to be solid enough for it's intended use as a display/just tapping it on the reader. Just be careful with the cape, because it will wiggle and move when you touch it.

looks cool
so far i haven't found or don't own a switch game (think it works on smash brothers can't confirm) that this works with as an amibo, have tested the NFC and it say this amibo figure is not supported by this game so i think it works, but it is a great looking figurine and mewtwo is one of my favourite Pokemon i have done the cardinal sin of taking it out of the box but i like the feel and look of it. also its hands will hold a iphone charging cable so works as a grip to stop it falling down behind a cabinet bonus. if you want a good sized representation of Mewtwo which is not for playing with but just to keep would recommend.

Fun concept and some great looking figures.
Simple premise. Tap you Amiibo on your Wii U controller and you figurine (in my case Yoshi) comes to life in your game.I purchased my Amiibo for Smash Bros where it can be used to create a fighter who will spar with you and learn from you actions. You can feed and customise your Amiibo and tinker with the stats to create either a formidable comrade or an absolute pain in the proverbial adversary. While not the cheapest item to purchase Amiibo are going to be usable in several games Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and more, so there is a bit more value to them than just a one game add on.Pro's+ Great designs and solid constuction+ A good way to unlock additional content in games+ Easy to update and tinker with. Just tap on the Wii U controller and your goodNegatives- Not cheap but they seem pretty decent quality- Seem to be hand painted but this isn't a guarantee of quaility. My Amiibo has a few ugly imperfections (you can see in my photograph that Yoshi has a nick on his eye)I'll most likely buy more as I'm sure the little one's will love them, only I don't think I'll buy them from Amazon as I'd rather inspect them before purchasing to ensure the quality is there.

Nothing to worry about
Don't be put off by the comments of negativity surrounding amiibo.I pre-ordered this as a precaution because I know they sell out quickly, and I was worried about the paint job. Turns out there was nothing to worry about; the quality is very good, the paint is very detailed and neat. The face especially looked good to me, as it's an area that I've seen others complain about. It works great with the Wii U, taking barely any time at all to read and write information onto the amiibo. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
