Does the job
I noticed a leak in the roof of my 2008 Mercedes Sprinter van and rust was showing on the interior at the seams. The leak was on the seams in the roof panels and I have found out that this is a weak point in the Sprinter vans. I applied this Roofseal Sealant tape over all of the seams on the roof. It is very sticky which is a good thing for sealing the seams but it makes the installation tedious and difficult. I don't really care that it was difficult to install because it really seals the seams and will probably last for years. Great product because it does what it is supposed to do, it saved my van roof.

Amazingly sticky and effective
Very sticky and very forgiving. By "forgiving" I mean it will stop leaks no matter that you are inexperienced and put it on sloppy. The glue is super sticky and thick. If you push down on the tape it oozes into cracks, totally keeping the water out. Because of its stickiness, it can't be removed without solvents. So, what I do is peel off a few inches of the backing and stick that part. Then I peel the backing some more and stick that part. I keep going until the whole tape is set in place.I used this on a sunroom roof, which uses panels of styrofoam sandwiched between aluminum sheets. I used the wide, "6", tape so I could seal over the top of the original, "3", tape. When the new tape gets old or damaged, I put a new swath of "6" tape over the top of it. Works great.

Always get Eternabond
It always works, forever. Anything else I have tried has failed in some way: didn't stick, didn't last, something. But this I have used on RVs and even my roof and have never had trouble. It's worth the difference in price. I promise.

Eternabond is the cats meow of roof sealant tape!
This is a great product. I believe that Eternabond is the leader in the industry of roof sealant tape. It's nice and thick and easy to use. As a roofing contractor I can tell that this product is durable, well made, and will provide a watertight seal for many years to come. It's necessary to clean the surface where the Eternabond's is to be applied with a proper cleaning agent or a mild dish soap using a soft brush. Make sure to completely dry the area before applying the sealant tape. It's best to use a small roller as you apply the sealant tape. This will insure a smooth, tight, long lasting bond. This product may be more expensive than similar roof sealant tapes, but in my opinion the peace of mind is well worth the extra cost.

Expensive But Worth It!
I picked up a roll of this for some camper repairs I was doing and to keep on hand in case i backed into a tree at a campsite. (Not that I ever have but now that I'm prepared for it it's probably going to happen!)This stuff is uber sticky! It's strong, seals great (even over wet spots) and did the trick. I repaired some water damage on a used camper I bought and used this to seal the front seams all the way to the roof. Of course with a new (to me) camper I couldn't wait until Spring so I did a little winter camping. It worked like a charm and not a drop of water came in while traveling 5 hours on a slushy highway and no wind during 35 mph winds and -34°F temps at the camp site.Once the annual Great Spring Thaw hits Minnesota I plan on going over all the seams on the roof as a preventative measure and it should be perfect for that use. It would also work well to tape unruly children to the wall during those rained-in camp outs but if you do and get turned in to child protective services don't mention my name. I won't be held liable because you did something irresponsible you read on the Interwebz!

Sticky stuff
Excellent seam tape for sealing roofs on RV's etc - but be sure to prep and clean area before use and make sure not to use this tape in conjunction with Henry's Troopicool roof sealant as it will not bond to this tape. Removal is near impossible - it really sticks to what you put it on.

Excellent product....
Excellent product.... it is hard to remove but that is what is supposed to be.... initial outlay is expensive; but because it is long-lasting durable, it is a great bang for your buck. It takes a bit of patience and practice to get the hang of it, but it goes on really easy. Go slow - where it lands is where it stays - adheres super well! Whole heartedly recommend this product!

I works great but you have to know how to install it properly
The eternabond tape works great but you need to apply properly under the right conditions and caulk the edges to ensure the tape does not come up as per the instructions.1.trailer must be clean and dry (do not tape after it rains it will not adhere correctly or when the weather is going to rain during application)IT DOES NOT STICK TO SILICONE2.apply slowly and carefully applying pressure to tape as it says in instructions3.apply caulking to all edges of the tape so that it is guarded to prevent dirt and debry from working up edges.4. Eternabond has there own caulking which works great ( no I do not have shares)or use a good high end no silicone base caulking5. if your not satified call eternabond and they will help you. I did and sent pictures and they helped me correct any problems

Good adhesive
Installed this on the seams of my sunroom at the trailer. Seemed to seal very well. We have not had a big enough storm yet to confirm it no longer leaks but so far so good. Very hard to pull up even immediately after installing. Gave one star for easy to remove which is a good thing for seam tape. You wouldn't want it easy to remove.
