Great control of your room and efficient heating.
I purchased an EvoHome starter kit and an additional 4-pack of radiator valves to work with a Baxi 105e Combi Boiler. Having set up the system I realised that the existing 'dumb' thermostat meant that this needed to be set high enough so that if an individual zone was cold on the EvoHome controller then it could open the valve and the boiler would supply heat to that zone. The problem being that the boiler is on more often because it can only control the heat of the water in the pipes and when this drops it will heat back to the set boiler temperature. The answer to this problem is this device. When all zones are heated the relay is switched off and so is your boiler. When one zone drops below your EvoHome controller set temperature that device tells the wireless relay to switch the boiler on, the valve is opened, it heats then when at the desired temperature the radiator valve shuts off and the wireless relay turns off the boiler. I don't know how much more efficient this is quantitatively but common sense says it quite a bit. Being able to control individual rooms is amazing if like I imagine all people have the problem of home to set a thermostat so that the upstairs isn't roasting when you go to bed and downstairs still has a chill in the air.

Geleverd volgens afspraak.

Wiring schemes are really complicated. I just hooked the 220V lines on the input ports ant the 2 wires from the boiler on A and B and it works perfectly. So if the complicated schemed scare you: it basically needs 2 wires for power, and 2 wires to turn on and off the boiler. Pairing with the evohome tablet worked as expected.
