This is a review for the three book series.This a wonderful story of the ups and downs of love and how two people can help each other find their way. One of the things I liked about it was it doesn't stop when the couple first get together. The trilogy follows their relationship through good times and bad. The two protagonists are likable and believable. They are not without their flaws. Flawed protagonists make for a more interesting and well-rounded story. There is a well developed cast of supporting characters and an entertaining plot to give a context to the two lovers relationship. It's a rocky road they follow, but one well worth joining them on.

I realized a few things a third of the way into this book: I have so many other books, both on Kindle and physically, that I could (and will) be reading now;This book did not hold my interest in the least;Alicia somehow knows how to work a mixer board in a recording studio despite never apparently doing it before (unless there's something in her history that we're not being told);This book was written childishly, giving the characters childish emotions, decisions and dialog. Maybe the author is young, I mean really young, and although her biography tells us that she grew up in an atmosphere that revered the written word, this book is not evidence of that;Writing a book is hard. I know that, which is why I've never done it, but as hard as it is, an author should go the extra mile and make it a good story. This is not a good or distinctive story.I don't like giving any author a bad review or a bad time, but this book is not worth the time a discerning reader would give it.

Alicia and Gabriella were a great couple once they finally got together, but this story was all over the place at times and you didn't know if something really happened or if it was a dream. This story took way too long for Alicia and Gabriella to get together and it had a whole lot of misunderstandings.

Gabriella was Alicia's awakening to who she is and what she really can accomplish in life. Although Alicia tried to deny it, she finally learned to embrace it. A bittersweet story of awakening, rejection, love and ultimately one's own acceptance.

I enjoyed this story that touched a little bit on what a long road it can be to break into the music industry. Both protagonists, Alicia and Gabriella, were hard working and likeable. I like the way Ms. Kale took her time in developing their relationship.

This was my first Jessica Kale book. I loved the characters and storyline. The twist near the end got me! I usually don't do series, but want to read the sequel.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when I bought this novel since the author hasn't published any other books on Amazon. However, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the story. The two main leads Alicia and Gabriella have great chemistry together, and I could definitely feel the tension in certain parts of the story. This was a great short read.

I really like reading this book. It caught my attention right away and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

Good story. Nice ending without a huge cliffhanger. Sort of a coming out story, with more focus on the start of a romance than the coming out.

Great read of young blossoming life and love, and the struggles to get their. Very relatable, intimate, and well developed story line and characters! Protags, antags, and always wanting the lead charcter to land on top!
