Anyone know the difference between this and vicks first defence? and can you use them together?

This is a throat spray with an active enzyme which deactivates the cold virus, tastes pretty good too! Vicks First Defence is a nasal spray that I think mostly contains Zinc. I have used ColdZyme a lot and it has always worked well for me. Not so keen on Vicks First Defence but that may just be personal preference.

Is the product sealed when it arrives?

Neither the box, nor the product are "sealed". A flimsy cap covers the nozzle.

What is the shelf life please ?

It will have a date on the box, approximately 2 years in the future. A 20 ml container is enough for 3 colds but you can get a smaller size which lasts for only one cold. It is more pleasant to use than the nasal sprays and very effective.

It says will treat 3 colds but how long does it last once the packet is opened or are there 3 separate treatment bottles?

I don’t throw it away once opened - I just keep it in a cupboard and use whenever I get a sniff, tickle in my throat or feel a cold coming - seems to work just fine! Hope that helps...... I make sure I’m never without it to be honest
