It has I think every single Tom & Jerry cartoon on, even the rubbish 1960s ones. All uncensored. If you're of an age, this is nostalgic heaven!!

Absolutely classic
First, to clear up any confusion, this set consists of the equivalent of 12 DVDs, which are recorded onto 7 discs, 5 of which are double-sided. That means that you get 14 hours and 48 minutes worth of cartoons or, to put it another way, a grand total of 159 of them. These are the originals, before they were made on a production line for television. In other words they are well-drawn, well-scripted and - most importantly - actually funny. My grandson loves them and, I must confess, so do I. LATER: Having now had chance to watch them all, we found volume 10 to be absolute drivel. Whoever was responsible had no idea of slapstick humour, none whatsoever about scripting, nor of appropriate music. All the episodes were atrocious. Volumes 11 and 12 are rather better, and certainly watchable, although not quite up to the standard of volumes 1-9. Still, that gives nine volumes directed by the great Fred Quimby and so makes the set a good buy by anyone's standards, even with the lesser stuff at the end.

For its cheap price, you receive a lot. All of the classic Tom and Jerry shorts are here from 1940-1964 I think.

Great for school holidays
7 year old granddaughter loves them. You can buy individual series via Amazon Prime (as I did with series 1 and 2) but these don’t provide value for money compared to the price of a full dvd set

I was very excited to have these for my children. Unfortunately, not even one DVD worked. The seller is from England and told me that I should change my regional settings for my DVD player. There is no regional setting on my player though. I tried my comptroller but the DVDs did not work there either. It’s a sham product. Please don’t buy.

Commandée pour Noël dernier, j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à me replonger dans cette collection d'épisodes proposée par ordre chronologique de production. Même s'il est dommage que l'image n'ait pas fait l'objet d'une remasterisation, au moins peut-on se régaler avec la quasi intégralité (il manque deux épisodes disponibles dans le coffret édition américaine) de ces sketchs adorables et hilarants. Ce coffret édition anglaise se présente sous la forme d'un digipack compact pratique à insérer dans une vidéothèque. Ceci est rendu possible grâce à certains DVD double-face. Une excellente idée, d'autant plus que ces disques (contrairement au coffret américain) sont parfaitement lisibles sur nos platines DVD françaises.
