That taste of the chalk was like paint. This chalk wasn’t powder like when I ate it. It was crunchy no matter how much you chewed. Definitely does not melt in your mouth. The picture is not what I received. The chalk was just big chunks thrown into a bag.

This chalk was firm but cracks easily. A grain to the end, some sharp but not critical. The flavor is light and fresh and sweetens at the end. It's lovely! I've had lots of chalk from different places and this shop impressed me. I would order again.

You only get 2 small pieces of chalk and they both taste horrible and are NOT worth the money

Ordered for my girlfriend who is the chalk lover. It came in one large piece and was a pure white color and smelled exactly like the description: fresh rain, paper in a well-loved book, and faintly like concrete. It wasn't too hard to break it in to smaller pieces to enjoy. I tried a bite and it was actually pretty tasty. Had a nice mouthfeel (didn't get slimy or dry my mouth out like I expected) and a light, sweet taste. The price was comparable to ordering from the company website when shipping is calculated and prime shipping through amazon is a huge plus.

Nice crunch and texture, not gummy at all. Powdery/dusty. After I munched the third time though I did get kind of a... perfumy taste? Although maybe that’s my doing somehow because before that it was a fresh rain, slightly earthy taste.

Ordered it 2 years ago was good for PICA craving. Ordered it recently and it tastes and smells of organic solvent that mask the taste and flavor of natural chalk. Perhaps not healthy either. Please do not spend the money! I am going to throw the rest. The only good thing I am not craving chalk anymore. This bad taste will stay in my mind forever.

2 tiny pieces of clay not worth the price. Worse still, they don't melt in the mouth as much as they r chunky. It's kinda hard to swallow them compared to others which melt after chewing them. This one has an okay taste but u can chew them to eternity and still feel like there are tiny pebbles left behind to be ground by your teeth. Had to re-wrap the package so it would not absorb the surrounding smell. I won't be buying it again.

Taste is good. Priced to high for the amount you get. It was just okay. Very abrasive to yhe tonge.

I got two sticks of belgorod chalk not monastic. Either way I like belgorod. It was dense bit off easily in water. Had a fresh taste when I left it to soak for a while, but kept its shape and crunch.
