Lovely product from Lakeland, a lot smaller than I was expecting so wasn't sure if like it. I've now tested the product and am actually really happy with the results! It makes perfect cake bars in no time at all. As for the size...well it is a " nutri snack" and I suppose the portion size the divider gives fits the name well.Well worth the money as I have found that with 6 children it is perfect quick and easy for creating a little treat for after a meal. Only issue ive had is that the divider on mine leaves small gaps at the bottom so the mixture leaks through abit, otherwise 5*

Burns everything or everything is underdone. I tried both the squares and the normal cake usage and the normal cake came out a thin slab. Horrible.

Very easy to use. Very pleased with it.

I'm giving this a four star only cause I couldn't find the ingrediants easily ... it takes more time to put the mix together than it does making the cakes ( 4 minutes ) I don't know if they are healthy but they do taste very nice

MAKES PERFECT SNACKS

Excellent for cost effective small quantity baking. I have made flat (ish) breads and used it to cook Jus-Rol puff pastry squares. Saves firing up the oven or using a larger Remoska. I didn't think the puff would puff, but it did. Likewise the bread (using soda bread flour) has just enough of the soft bit for buttering but not too much to waste. Not totally flat and not totally full-bread.(I think I bought mine from Lakeland but it's the same gadget.)

This is a great little device for making healthier snacks for the kids lunchboxes. The handy little recipe book will make it easier to get new ideas and there are quite a few that I'm looking forward to trying. The cake maker itself is nice and compact so doesn't take up much space in the cupboard, it's a similar size to a toasted sandwich maker. It has a removable section which makes it easy to keep clean. I'd recommend using a spray oil when baking, so the cakes do not stick, but you could use a soft brush to brush on a normal oil if you prefer. Overall I would recommend this if you are looking to make something a little more healthy for the family.
