Sturdy hook and catch, let down by poor screws
I ordered this twice: the first time it came with very poor quality screws which quickly became unusable due to the screw head disintegrating. The second time it came with no screws at all. That said, the hook and catch are very sturdy and I would still buy again if I needed another.

Amazon to the rescue again
I live miles away from a DIY store and wanted to replace an old rusted hook I had on my garden door. These were very similar to the old ones. And the correct size. The brass quality is good it came with the screws and fitting.

Does what it says on the box
The description is accurate. This is a solid, silent door hook and eye catch. Nothing to complain about and given the price it's a recommendation if the styling suits your decor.

No Screws
The hook and eye catch is fine. It looks like it will stand usage for a significant period of time.But no scrtews are included so you will need to find or go out and purchase the appropriate screws before installation.

Very good looking but the hole for the loop is not big enough for the looped bit to go in all the way to the curve, unless you angle the receiving end at a very odd angle! It works with the end bit of the clasp going in, but I would have preferred the curved part to sit flush.
