I was very impressed with this light. It is designed well and fit my MP S&W right out of the box. The beam is very bright and moderately focused with enough spread to see off to the side. I haven’t used it enough to know how long the battery last. It feels like a 100 dollar light and the switches seem well made. I’d buy it again especially at the sale price.

Excellent pistol light with intuitive controls, and it throws a lot of light ! The Beretta PX4 Storm is used as an example in the product listing, but the Stotm only has one slot in the picatinny rail, which mounts the light too far forward to comfortably reach the switches. I mounted the light using the clamp only so it is up against the trigger guard, and I camm easily reach the switches.

The first one I received had a missing key for Sig but had a second keys of another type in its place. After I received the replacement, I found out that the Sig key is offset and using it would require me to use a picatinny rail further away from the trigger. The Sig key had the same amount of wiggle as the 1931 key before tightening the flash light. There is no wiggle when the flashlight is tightened with either key. The 1913 key lets the flashlight sit closer to the trigger which feels better for my length of finger so I ended up using the 1913 key. The light is perfect for home defense because it is bright enough, durable enough, and inexpensive. I like how it is compact and rechargable. I shot about 100 rounds (9mm) out of my Sig Sauer P226 Scorpion and the flashlight didn't get loose. Pressing the paddle on the flashlight lightly will enable constant on wherease pressing the paddle hard will enable momentary on. I think it might be more intuitive the other way around so it takes a little getting used to.

The worst light you can have on a handgun is one that has a non-adjustable beam. A flood beam reduces distance and focus. I do not want to light up a whole backyard, I want to concentrate on an individual target. 800 lumens is great but if you can't control it, it compromises your ability place your bullet where it is needed. Putting an adjustable light beam on this device would make it worth the purchase.

I have a TLR-7 Sub on my other pistol, but this seemed like too good a deal to not try. I actually like the buttons on this better than my streamlight, they're in the perfect spot and very low profile. The light is crazy bright, and being able to recharge is the best. I have the cable running into my pistol safe so its always plugged in and when I grab the pistol the charger falls away like it should and doesn't slow me down. 400 rounds so far, no problems with loosening or malfunctions.
